Players who scored 33 goals for HUFC were: The aforementioned Ronnie Clayton, Ron Fogg and Hawkeye's favourite centre forward Tony Biggs. Was Biggs the one who may have been with HUFC in 1959? Or was it Clayton? Anyway, contrary to your comment, I had completely gorgotten about the former England Amateur International Tony Biggs being at Edgar Street. Four appearances in the 1st Division for Arsenal, scoring one goal. Arrived at Hereford via Guildford City. Apparently.

Might have been somebody else. He was 1960s. Clayton played against Sheffield Wednesday in '58?

Not guilty.
I've been underwhelmed by a few over the decades, but Biggs is not amongst their number.

"A 3 legged camel with the turning circle of the Queen Mary"
Source: A town and civil parish in the Stroud District in Gloucestershire, England, lying in one of the Stroud Valleys in the Cotswolds, on the A46 road (the Roman Fosse Way), 4 miles (6.4 km) south of Stroud and about 25 miles (40 km) north-east of Bristol and Bath.

You won't see any record of him there though, been cancelled. They have put stickers over his face on any yearbook photos, team photos, on the zip wire at Malvern Field Centre, coming out of Woolworths during lunchtime looking sheepish etc. His 2nd year shot putt sports day record has been expunged. They have even etched off his name from the prestigious "I attended a full week" shield. Quite a sad story really but he did bring the school into disrepute so they had no choice. He wrote a book.

Going through the folks stuff, I came across an envelope containing a load of Wx school reports 1974/1979. Hilarious/Terrifying. Definitely not the best days of our lives. Quite enjoyed the sixth form college though, and the senior common room, aka The Whitehouse on Chiltern Square. Fun fact - Part of track five on The Pretenders first album was recorded in that same room.

I have a load of old programmes to rip through. After the season finishes and we are in some kind of limbo I will see what decent stuff I can chuck on here.

Guy who lives opposite me is down into town and back up with his morning paper and shopping in less time that the bus can do the circuit. Must be at least 85.
Fine performance.
Steep gradient. Great Orme, Llandudno.

I once saw Eddie Holliday beat about seven players cutting in from the left wing and score a wonder goal at the Blackfriars Street End. It was not dissimilar to one scored down the other end by Brian Evans (ex Abergavenny Thursdays.)
