Victor
I have never met you to the best of my knowledge but I will propose you if you want although getting a seconded might be a bit problematic.

Scenario - Chris Williams Chair HUST and Martin Watson Vice Chair HUST stand down at forthcoming AGM citing workload whilst performing roles with HFC. Lack of nominees for vacancies in HUST. Demise of HUST due to members' apathy and deemed nothing to do with HFC Board of Directors. Result HFC ownership lies fully with benefactors and task is complete. A likely scenario? Discuss urgently! At least if they stood down from HUST, someone else might feel like having a go without having to hang out with Chris Williams or have MW keeping them under 24hr surveillance. Demise of HUST due to members' apathy and deemed nothing to do with HFC Board of Directors. Result HFC ownership lies fully with benefactors and task is complete. A likely scenario? Discuss urgently! I imagine this may well happen now. There seems to be a lot of apathy surrounding the Trust now and given the amount of stick some its members got it would be no surprise if people don't want to step up to the plate. It looks like membership will dwindle and it'll turn into HUISA mark two, at best. It's a real shame as it could be such a positive force but I imagine it'll slide into insignificance now. I don't recall Barney, Rodders, or even Len (honest) getting too much stick. Funny that they are the ones that left, not the ones who are (rightly, IMO) getting the stick. Are you still going to stand for election Graham ? I have no friends to propose me and if I did no one would vote for me. Everyone hates me. So it's not looking good. On the other hand, people might do a Jeremy Corbyn, join HUST just to vote me in, so that HUST loses all credibility !! If nothing else turns up, I'd defintely vote for you, Grayham. If only to punish the HUST incumbents, and for a bit of a laugh.

But that is evidently not true considering at least one of the HUST board has recently resigned as Chris and Martin took no notice of their concerns. HUST members do not even have the power to remove their representatives from the HFC board. This is why people wanted to read a draft of the A of As before they were put in place, but some fools like you hounded them down. Murray, whats the ideal end game for you personally, for Hereford United? (Serious question). Williams and Watson step down. HFC get rid of the crazy and selfish two-tiered share situation. HUST can gain 50% (and ideally more) and an equal boardroom with HUST preferably having some input into the choice of chairman.

If HUST members aren't happy with the direction the organisation us going in they need to act to change it not walk away. All HUST members are free to stand for key positions, to table questions and to propose motions. HUISA became stale because not enough people cared enough to stop it happening. If that happens with HUST we will only have ourselves to blame.

Haha. After 48 hours away I thought I'd better check back in. I was amazed to see that it has taken grayham 7 months to understand why many were worried about the A of As.

Personally, I think if nobody is going to stand down then a vote of no confidence would be best displayed by fans not renewing membership.

Just renewed my membership! From what I can tell they're doing a fine job despite all the accusations.

Surely better to be on the inside looking out than outside looking in?

Actually, the best way of showing no confidence is to propose a vote of no confidence at the general meeting and get it passed by the members.

Don't expect my vote. I won't as there is no chance I'll be standing based on my demands! Thats not why you stand though, right? 'Demands' is just noise and unlikely to create any catalyst for change. You stand for change for the better, to help all us Hereford fans secure more say in our future surely? Seriously mate, the energy you expend on this forum and the past one on this topic is energy that could be used in a positive manner. You come across as a hater of HFC, rather than someone who could use their intelligence to help HFC fans. I don't get why you are so against representing us and pushing change for the better of all us fans. We all know beating on the forum drum does little to effect change, it just creates a little noise here and there.

I have absolutely no doubt that the result would show that the vast majority of fans are still in support of of the HUST leadership. Personally I think that if you're unhappy, just don't bother renewing because quite frankly, I can't see how anything will change either way.

I'd love to see him do it, should it happen though, which isn't TOTALLY out of the question - just depends on the answer to that question about whether they keep their HFC roles without being on the HUST board, cos if not, they'll surely never go.
