All away seats gone by look of it but as that's not 500 presumably you can book home seats in that West Stand. Doesn't seem to be anything stopping it!

Two clubs with a historic rivalry, home fans with a reputation for causing trouble and a fair few hooligans in the away end too. Yet anyone is able to buy tickets online in any section of the ground with no checks whatsoever. What could possibly go wrong?

Didn’t they just play scunny? Was there trouble between fans or did scunny not take that many fans to warrant limits?

Any watering hole recommendations? I do a fair bit of work in Chester: Telford's warehouse is a nice one on that side of town (by the canal), probably my favourite pub in the city In the centre then I'd recommend the Architect (by the racecourse), Old Harkers Arms or Pied Bull. Deva Tap a decent one near the station. All do good food as well. There's plenty of Greene King pubs in the City as well. Chester Markets a nice place if you want easy quick food in the centre

Chester ain't the best place for boozers for me. I can't particularly recommend any. There's one down by the Racecourse with a huge beer garden and I mean massive. Faux posh. The pub opposite the train station is a football pub. It's ok. There are a couple of good tiny boozers on the side streets. I'm not much help as I can't remember any of the pub names. Sorry.
It's a lovely city though as I presume you all know.

Isn’t the Chester manager that tw*t who did a terrible impression of a Herefordshire accent in his interview last season?

Didn’t they just play scunny? Was there trouble between fans or did scunny not take that many fans to warrant limits? No trouble and not been any at home this season after a big banning order took out a lot of the young us. Scanny got 500 which is all we are allowed to give while still under restrictions for how ever much longer it takes for them to realise its daft. If coming by train there's some good pubs along Brook St area, follow the Rd right out of the station, there's 5 between the Town Crier and Stanley's. If you go left or straight out of the station that will take you to the city center the longer way but more central and a large wetherspoon on foregate St. City has lost a lot of its old school pubs as many have turned into pretentious wine bars charging stupid prices. Cant see the club bar allowing away fans in but if there early enough you may be lucky, Scunthorpe fans were welcomed in and there was no issues. See you lot Saturday and go easy on us ,we can't string a pass together at the moment.
