Strange attack on Caddis? Question his abilities and experience maybe but surely not his commitment? Maybe commitment's the wrong word, I just think that any manager in it for the long term would move to the Herefordshire area and live amongst the fans of the club to build up an affinity with the community. As far as I'm aware Caddis still lives in the Blackpool area, which suggests he doesn't expect to be here for long. Remember how Gowling was criticised for continuing to live in Grimsby when he was our manager?Secondly I don't think he took yesterday's tie seriously enough. Bishop's Stortford finished bottom of the league last season and we did the double over then so you have to say yesterday's game should have been a comfortable away win. The fact we lost suggests they wanted it more than we did, which simply isn't acceptable. A perplexing use of the passive voice. I think you meant "Remember how I criticised Gowling for continuing to live in Grimsby..." Having actually attended yesterday's match, for once I finally feel qualified to have an opinion. Yes, they seemed to want it more, certainly in the second half, but football matches are often about momentum. They scored at the right time, the ball ran for them when on other days it might not have done, and their keeper pulled off a worldly at a critical juncture in the game. On another day we might have come away with a result. I'm not going to be too critical of Caddis or the team.

Stockport fans were similarly vexed by the length of their stay in NLN. Upward movement only took place for them when a money supply arrived with new ownership. So far PC has kept us well interested with the play off positions which Richards/Harris, Slade and Gowling all conspicuously failed on. Further PC credit due for doing it when the others had taken us from half a million £s in the bank to £5k. PC deserves a lot of credit for the progress we have made from April 2023 as does Ammonds. Genuine question. What progress? We have team who aren't playing like a bunch of Stefans week in, week out.

Caddis isn't the finished article by his own admission. He keeps saying he is still learning. To be honest though when you've stopped learning you are finished. I'm behind him. I think he is a decent manager learning his ropes. Mistakes? Or course there will be. Doing a good job for me.

He needs to listen to me a bit more. Aye, he's missing out on that upper tier know-how, for sure. Fifth floor Perfumery Stationery and leather goods Wigs and haberdashery Kitchenware and food. Going Up. (If you know, you know.* And you're of a certain vintage) *I'd go 5% of us at most.

In terms of results, our most disappointing and unprofessional. Something for the learning curve. However, the positive is we can concentrate on the league. Concentrate on the league? We're nowhere near good enough to challenge for the title and even if we did make the play offs they're a lottery where one bad game can undo a season's work. There's no reason why a club can't do both, you can make the play offs and have a cup run if you have a winning mentality. Sadly Caddis's teams so far simply don't have that and the loss of potential cup money means we probably lack the funds to improve the squad now. Easy tiger. No one on this forum is the enemy. We are all frustrated and I for one would love to see us progress to the 3rd or 4th, or for the first time ever 5th round of the FA cup. However, the result has happened and is totally out of our hands. Therefore, trying to be positive and find a silver lining.

Non league paper seemed to think their bloke saw Chapman off his line and took a pop. Was that right? If right it would mean they actually had someone at the game watching.

Bishop's Stortford's reward is an away tie at National League Braintree. I don't feel so bad about us loosing the game now!

I sort of hoped that nobody would go down that road.

I sort of hoped that nobody would go down that road. That was wishful thinking. BTW, good report on BN. However as the so-called 'human satnav', can I draw your attention to the fact that it's Stansted, not Stanstead? 😉

I’m sure people forget that he’s literally a part-time manager at Hereford and has a full-time job up north where he’s settled with his family etc.

Highlights viewed. BS first goal - Credit the player, he meant it. Looked up and put it in the only place, via the only route that would have hit the net, quality. Can forgive Chapman, with a ball heading out of play 45 yards away, he shouldn't really be standing on his goal line. But neither should he 10 seconds earlier, hopeful loft into the six yard box, from miles out, his ball to claim all day long. Sadly not an isolated incident, but this one was a momentum shifter.
And hands up, nice assist from Rose for Willo. Not Rooney, as some useless match reporter suggested.

Just watched the highlights. At least one of their players was offside for their equaliser!

Only defence for Chapman was the sun was directly behind the ball. Assume he lost the flight for a critical second or so?
Funny enough, I noticed the offside too, but only because of the goal we were denied against King's Lynn.

Why is it that since the match report was put up on Bulls News this place has been boycotted?
I thought it was just me who was intimidated by the use of complex words that you associate with people who live in big towns?
