Needless to say I’ll be advancing north over the Dartford Crossing to arrive in time for grub. As I’m driving, I’ll likely be on the Guinness Zero. Drinking non alcoholic beer is like watching porn on the radio ! It just requires imagination……..

That Guinness 0.0 is actually bloody good. I read somewhere they extract the alcohol without evaporating it and that keeps the flavour and ‘body’. Yes, I know this is off topic, but….

I wasn't expecting that, fair play to Stortford but, that's a very poor result.

Wasn't arsed either way to be honest. Sure the chairman was. Got injuries in a needless replay in the last round. The league is everything as I said before. Not trying to reactionary. Just prioritising.

Very dissapointing to not get a run in the cup what with cash needed. Same old same old with the "where does the money go" question. Top 3 in attendances every season since we got to NLN, good sponsorship and extra match-day revenue as a result, yet still part-time and still only training 4 hours a week.....

Very disappointing. We love the FA Cup in Hereford and a good run with a potential TV game would have raised the funds to mount a serious attempt on promotion, albeit via the play offs.
As ever Caddis talks a good game but it doesn't transfer to results on the pitch. For the first time I'm starting to doubt his commitment. Does he really care?

For twenty minutes! I don't know what their manager told them at half time but they came out half a yard quicker than us and certainly more committed in the tackle. Not that I'm moaning. Their physicality remained for the most part on the right side of the rules with a few exceptions. We could have sneaked a draw and it wouldn't have been an injustice. Sometimes it just doesn't run for you. Not convinced on this performance that we have a side that can challenge for promotion, but we do have a few very good players who play the kind of football I like to watch; Robinson and Campbell were the pick of the bunch today. Does anyone really take refuge in the "concentrate on the league" cliche? Financially wouldn't it be better to risk injuries with a choice home tie against a 'big team'? Talking of BS, good luck to them.

If we lose a hypothetical 6 points in the league due to injuries in cup games, is that a fair trade to getting stuffed away at AFC Wimbledon? Personally I think not. Others obviously will have different opinions. And the Trophy... Well for me that's just one for the 18s

I honestly don’t know why Andy Williams is on the bench again. He was signed as a goalscorer that we lacked last couple of years. He generally scores each game, especially when he starts- longer game time more chances he will get. He is not unfit and easily capable of playing 90 minutes once a week. Whilst we were on top early in the match I reckon he would have got a goal to put us 2-0 up. He anticipates chances and scores goals lesser experienced strikers miss. Last season due to injuries he missed many games but still came back and scored many goals. I would say he is an expensive sub and does not deserve to be on the bench. We are missing Cowley so need Andy to play. We are now under pressure to keep supporters happy with a play off position a must. A cup run would have provided something else— more money to boost squad for the play offs. Surely step 3 players will not be a great help, and a striker from there will not be as prolific a goalscorer as Andy Williams. Paul reckons all we can get are Step 3 level so it’s going to be tough!
