The "tiny" budget did actually include three or four commendable gambles. Willo is on £2,000 per week. Cowley £1,750 per week. One imagines that Rooney is on more than that. £2k per week? In NLN? Obviously that wouldn't be for 52 weeks, but for a part-time player that seems to me to be an awful lot of money. If your observations are accurate. Or could it be that he and Cowley aren't actually part-time?

I don't think anyone should be feeling down at the moment, to be honest.
I visted Tecoses earlier (several times), and their Tescoses Cider is £2 for 4 cans with a club-card.

The gamble has failed to pay out even at each way with extra places.

I don’t think we have got value for money with either of them this season and I hope we get a better return if we resign them for next season.

I dunno, it at least signalled a bit of a "show of intent" and no doubt contributed to pre-season optimism. At the end of the day 800 extra customers each fortnight over the season so I work it out as about level par.

I can tell you now that those figures are laughable. More likely to be a month than a week. That’s based on last years accounts.

So pleased that Paul has signed an extension to his contract. He has restored the pride and the belief in our club and considering he is a rookie manager with a brand new set of players he has done extremely well for us. Ok one or two mistakes along the way but then so has the likes of Klop so he’s in good company. So thank you Paul. A shout for the chairman as well and also a request to give the manager a bit more in the playing budget. Without. breaking the Bank surely a little must be available after such a great support during the season
