If you confirm that you will personally cover all the costs involved, it’s a “yes” from me. What about all the creditors of the old Hereford United would they need to be paid off first? No. Not legally. Different limited company

I heard earlier that Mr Blandford is no longer involved with the club. Has anyone else heard similar? I hadn't heard that he was in the first place....

But, and I'm no expert on the subject, it's not quite as simple as that is it? To change the name only is one thing but in this case, as previously stated, would surely mean changing so much more. At what cost I don't know other than what has been suggested, which may have been exaggerated but presumably more than £18. Alright, I'll bung in a tenner. Anyone else? I’ll see your tenner and raise you £50

Old and New, eh?
"Up The Bulls." It's all very monosyllabic and masculine, isn't it? Ok, it might be a suitable refrain for the herd of oiks stampeding from the Meadow End to Radford's at 3.27 when it's 1 apiece but, really? It's not exactly very Mary Earps, is it? Misogynistic, even.
"Up The Lilywhites," on the other hand - well it conjures up real refreshment, doesn't it? When we think of Charlie Thompson, John Charles, Albert Derrick, Peter Isaac and the talismanic Lindy Delapenha - is "Up The Fecking Bulls" what we REALLY want?
The trisyllabic "Lilywhites", trips nicely off the tongue. It's visionary. It's pristine. It's all about re-birth. Yes. That'll do for me.

Right, having read this, I'm off to try and find my old wooden rattle. 😉

When I was a young supporter I had a wooden football rattle .. it was classy I must say, but I have to own up to having painted “Chelsea” on it (a long lost allegiance) but not very well as I started big but ended with a small “a” having run out of space lol

Around 1970, myself and a mate were walking down Edgar Street on our way to a game when a really old geezer beckoned us over from one of the little terraced houses to the right of the swimming baths. He gave us a massive ARP rattle and said, "I can't get to games any more but I want to hear the bugger sing." We painted it black and white and took it with us every week until OB designated them a dangerous weapon - which they undoubtedly were. My abiding memory is that it took a helluva wind up to get it going. (Wish I still had it.)

I guess he is just lucky cbb wasn't at large on the defence solicitor circuit back then.

I tend to think that we are asking the wrong question.
Perhaps we should be asking whether Hereford FC deserve the name Hereford United rather than if and when it is going to happen.
At their peak United played four leagues higher and played in the Football League for about 30 years.
I could go on.
But hey, that's just me.

Had to undergo some anger management but have explained that to you know who and I think we are both in a better place.
