I suppose it was inevitable, that this subject would crop up again this year.
How would you vote?

If the person who brought this up again, wants to pay for everything to change it out of their own pocket. Then it is United for me! In the unlikely event of this not happening, stick as we are. The platform has been built.

Can't be done. Can't see how the complaints could be dismissed and therefore the name accepted.
Also, I don't see the point. Just carry on.

Would be disrespectful to the old lady.

I'd always wanted to revert back to United but now don't see the point. The reference in 'Forever United' is enough for me.

Can't be done. Can't see how the complaints could be dismissed and therefore the name accepted. Also, I don't see the point. Just carry on. A limited company went into liquidation. The football team can play as Hereford United, City Thistle or Student Accommodation next to Waitrose FC. Most recent example I can think of is Newport. Reformed as Newport AFC, changed to Newport County AFC some years later. The moral issue of the debt owed by 1939 Limited (and it remains in Liquidation, not dissolved) is a different matter. I've said before what a shame it was that Leicester City's premier league title was tainted by all those questions of their repeated avoidance of millions of pounds of debt.

I think we've got more important things to get right - for example the finances at the club.Down the the last £6,000 not long ago.

Nobody objected to Newport changing their name though, did they? I don't see why it should be important to HFC fans. Just carry on and leave things in the past.

Whom do you think would pay the fee for it to be dissolved. Mr Andrew Lonsdale?

Bring it back. It reads so much better than Hereford FC.

Yeah, nobody objected to the name change. You already said that. I expect you objected to the change, just because.

Hopefully, we will get promoted soon, then go bust (obvs) and re-form again as United.
