It needs clarification for sure. If true however, will need some explanation. Before the idiot(s) that sanctioned it are fired. Edit. Just read NB’s further comment. Let’s hear you Mr Graham. TODAY. Not in a few months time when you hope it might blow over. Show this transparency amd explain why the club's supporters can no longer watch their youngsters and stars of the future play matches. Just been 1 joke after another for last 10 months
Fill your boots people....

These academies can generate a significant income for smaller clubs, whilst the progression statistics are quite startling:
Academies of their very essence are a good idea. Get the best players, give them the best coaches in the best potential environment.
The problem is that the ills of senior football - greed, opportunism, the stockpiling of talent unnecessarily for commercial gain - are seeping down into junior football.
That's what's happening in the academies of the major clubs where boys are going in, they're sucked into the system. They're taken over by the dream.
But, realistically, all they would do is sit there and wait for a chance that will never come.
The statistics are really sobering. Out of all the boys who enter an academy at the age of 9, less than half of 1% make it. Or a make a living from the game either.
The most damning statistic of all is only 180 of the 1.5 million players who are playing organised youth football in England at any one time will make it as a Premier League pro.
That's a success rate of 0.012%.
Pretty much the sort of chances of you being hit by a meteorite on your way home.
I'm sure HFC are in it for the kids though - even if it's long way from Edgar St to Bristol.

That’s certainly my experience.
My lad played in the same Swindon academy team as Billy Bodin and Will Evans. As far as I am aware, no-one else from any of the teams he played at (inc Coventry, Villa and Swindon) even played league football.
We’ve got a programme or two at home. Best we can offer from opponents is Harry Pell.
Academies are brutal. They’re looking for one gem in amongst all the starry eyed lads they take on. The rest get cut without too much ceremony.

Is there any news of this reported move in the public domain?

If this is true then surely our Head Of Football must resign or be sacked. It's disgraceful that this has been done without informing the fans. Transparent and inclusive, Mr arse!

Id prefer Peroni's suggestion of the chairman registering on here.
Was proper funstens the evening Andy Lonsdale did on Bulls Banter. Would expect Mr Graham to give a far better account of himself.
With respect to the youth teams playing st Bristol, it is, well..just not cricket!

I thought one of the reasons for the plastic pitch at Pegasus was so they could host, at least part of, the academy?

If only there was an independent Hereford FC supporters organisation that could use its contacts and influence to request an official statement from the club about this issue.
Or have the fans' representatives on the board already been "house trained"?

"HFC - on loan to Brizzle" I suppose the scrapping of the Severn Bridge toll is a silver lining.

If a club statement isn't forthcoming soon (and it's content satisfactory) - I suggest those nice folks at the Hereford Times might like to know?
As for the plastic pitch at Old school Lane, I dont think the HFC forst team will be using it - why woud they?
- Most of the HFC squad live a considerable distance from Hereford
- The facilities at Hartpury are considerably better/closer than the Old School Lane
- No matter what may have already been said, I cant help thinking Pegasus will do everything they can to stop anyone using 'their' facility.

Then what exactly do we gain from this supposed partnership that Ken kept banging on about? Surely his only achievement is not in fact a red herring?

A statement is being prepared. Apparently. Might take a while to get here. Do they have access to the interwebs in Gloucestershire?

Home games for 18’s we’re hoping to be at Wellington other ages will potentially play there as well plus we will be using Vikki Park & Burghill
Andy Bevan on Twitter.
