Read my profile if you care too. I have not included inside address, inside leg measurements etc but enough to make it known that I'm not hiding behind my keyboard. Certainly enough info that can be sent to the authority's by any member, should I make any comments that could be resulted in a persecution. I am not going to lose any sleep over it. All I want to to know who is pulling the forum strings, Just like many who want to know who's pulling HFC strings. Am I being unreasonable, or did I expect too much knowing this was a Fan-owed forum? Wow! you live in Memphis and run your own trucking business!  Are you single, by any chance? |

Thanks for the suggestion Whitefriar. The SES Team have considered this and decided that it is up to individual moderators whether or not they disclose their identity. They are moderating a football forum. They are not the Police or public figures. They have volunteered to help manage the Board. They are not dictators or the thought police. They are simply users of the forum like the rest of us. If they wish to use a pseudonym that is their choice and the SES Team support that choice. Jonny Dangerous has been invited to remain as a moderator. We hope he accepts.
On another note Mods are also encouraged to express their own personal views and play a full part in the life of the forum.

Hereford's a small place, we're a small club. If Admin are happy with the information they have then that's fine by me.
I happen to know who Jonny is. I can vouch for him.
The list of Moderators given yesterday was of three long-standing, well respected posters. That should be enough.

Personally I think that you are being very unreasonable. As long as the admins have checked the moderators out that should be sufficient. You may choose to put your identity and real name out there but that does not mean that everyone else has to. I see no reason why that information should be available to any random person roaming around the internet. PS @ Jonny Dangerous - you should stay.  |

But who are the admins?
Still not received PM's from anyone yet.
How the hell can anyone argue that HFC is not transparent yet we don't know who the forum benefactors owners are.
If Bulls Banter had all admin ID's known then we would have known who exactly who did what. The forum would still be open. There would be no smoking gun and no conspiracy theories about it's demise.
I find the lack of transparency highly here hypocritical.
This forum will eventually sink into the same cesspit as the last one unless these issues are not addressed.

Admin has posted the usernames of all Moderators in the Forum Admin thread. Most users seem comfortable with that.

Although I understand where you're coming from, the admin on here are widely known as people who exist in the real world and are not fictional characters.
It does seem a tad hypocritical, but I guess you just have to believe that they exist and get on with it until we find out otherwise.
If we were to find out that they are not real I imagine the fictional character and real world master would be forced to stand down from all of their official roles. Immediately.

I know the real Jonny. D. - as in, I know him in real life. (I even know what his family look like).
Can other posters say the same for the other Moderators / Admins? If they can (post on this thread), then you should be reassured that said Mods / Admin are not Munsleys.
