When are we going to do something about the bloody women who drive fecking great big cars down Coldwells Lane before getting out to exercise their fecking dogs? Bitches. Get them onto Bill Wiggins' M50 trial of faster speed limits on motorways. Probably won't be many of them left alive after that, especially if part of the trial is to use the Newent junction slip roads.

Not only would the UK no longer make its own steel and therefore become reliant upon imports, it would be the only nation in the G7 group to put itself in such a ridiculous situation. FFS! 🙄 PS. I wonder what plan HM Government's Opposition has, or will have, to address this state of affairs. 🤔 PPS. Are we still sending 'overseas aid' to India? Difficult for the opposition. They have a plan to spend £3 billion to fund arc furances, and at the same time keeping at least one of the blast furnaces for about 10 years, which would drastically reduce the unemployment scale down to what could be achieved by voluntary redundancies. However, if the government pushes this through, and then drags its heels on an election, that opportunity will be lost. Which do you reckon this government favours? Aid to India? It's difficult to say as the official line on it is that it is invested in businesses and other projects of benefit to both countries. UK government has not got a good track record on benefiting its own country, so you have to decide yourself. £2.3 billion between 20126 and 2021, and now to increase by 70%. I anybody in the Shire is thinking of voting Lib Dem to get the 2 Tories out, think again. Latest YouGov poll here has Tories on about 35%, Labour on 26% and Lib Dems on about 19%. If I recall, Reform* are on about 10%. Vote Labour in the Shire to get rid of the Tories. * - I may just have given the Tories a boost by letting any Tories planning to vote Reform as a protest, thinking Tories will still win, some info that they could not find. Ha. Had a bloke knocking on my door this morning canvassing for Ellie Chowns from the Green Party. He wanted me to tell him who I voted for last time and what was my intention next time. I politely told him that was none of his business. After about 90 seconds I explained that as it was a very cold morning I was going to bid him farewell and close the door because all the expensively acquired heat was escaping while he was standing on my doorstep. One would have thought someone from the Green Party would understand my wish to not waste the heat in my home. Regarding the Lib/Dems, no chance in the Shire these days, although I reckon Paul Keetch was a decent bloke and actually a very good MP. I've never voted Labour but despite the polls suggesting the Tories will retain both local seats I wouldn't bank on that. I could just vote for Starmer if only to see the back of the sheer stupidity of what our so-called government has been engaged in. The Rwanda 'policy' is an insult to our intelligence, as is most of what the Johnson-Truss-Sunak mob has been telling us. All that said, I'm not convinced any of the three main parties have the required intelligence or nous to rescue us from the awful decline in the state of our country. Sad days indeed.

I have recently been getting more and more concerned about environmental matters, to the point that I have joined the local Green Party. Talk about being thrown in at the deep end, I was sent out on one of the coldest days for ages to try and warn people about the growing problem of global warming.
I tell you what, there are some miserable buggers about.

"If Sunak really wants to know why the country feels as if it’s falling apart, it’s because we haven’t got a functioning government."
On the contrary, it's because we haven't got a functioning populace.

You should've gone into politics. The only thing missing from your response is the phrase "What I will say is this......"

A bit of a rubbish punch. Must have hurt his hand! Mind you, I'd like to have seen someone give one of those to David "Pigshead" Cameron a few years back. And then one right into the mush of that bumbling scarecrow headed Johnson! Maybe a bitch slap for Sunak, it would still make him cry.
