Would they be willing to wait two or three years?
They might. Can't speak for the rest of us.

Having studied his Wikipedia page, I notice that Slade has failed to gain promotion with any side that he has managed. Not great going in a 20-plus year career! He does seem to be someone who clubs turn to when they find themselves in the mire though & his track record of avoiding relegation is pretty good. A lot will depend on how long the board are prepared to give him to turn things around & challenge at the top of the table. Would they be willing to wait two or three years? While you're in Wikipedia, could you check how many times has Pep Guardiola won promotion?

I like the fact that he says it was time, perhaps, for him to take a break, after his last job. He should be coming to us, refreshed and with a point to prove. Often happens that way as you approach retirement age!

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russell_Slade#HerefordI'm not sure his record matches him being one of the greatest lower league managers to be honest. And whoever it is messing with wiki please stop it. Iv already wasted a day trawling through books for Tim otoole it's not funny
