I saw Stuart Phillips riding his bike over the meadows the other day. Any one else got any Hereford legends stories? I also once had a piggy back from Winston White and played a fame of football against Ian Dalziel.

Kenny Lunt once took my dog for a walk. I didn't ask him to, he just did it.

I once saw David Icke having a quiet drink on his own in that pub by the river at Symonds Yat. He was filling venues by then. But not the pub by the river at Symonds Yat.

Used to play football with Peter Spiring on our drive way when I was a kid. He used to live next door.

I bought Adam Musial a pint in the Blackpool supporters club. I tried to engage him in conversation, but he made out he couldn't understand me.
He didn't stand his round either. Possibly because the club hadn't paid him that week.

David Rudge once mistakenly thought I had taken the piss out of his broken arm (leg?) in the Grapes and offered me outside. (Drink had been taken by both parties.)
Barry Silkman once spent a train journey to London trying to pull my sister who was very marginally legal at the time.

At the end of a goalless draw at Merthyr, I intimated to R. George from the terrace that "probably in the general scheme of things, he hadn't played with particular distinction" that Sunday afternoon.
The Gentle Giant stopped him killing me.

Eric Redrobe was a regular with us in the bar at HRFC, when it was at Rockfield Road. He preferred drinking with us because of the "lack of respect that we gave him, as opposed to the obsequious attitude of many in the other local hostelries".*
Apparently, he'd been a pretty good eggchaser himself, in the 13 man code.
He then introduced a certain D. McNeil to take his place off the bench on the barstool, when he moved on.
Those 2 guys had huge thirsts.
*Those are my words, not his. His were more forthright and Northern.

Just high fives and shinners. Which was a bit sad on the old Kop at Blackpool.

I met Richard Rose in the stand after a game when I was about 7 after my dad introduced me to him, as he was my favourite player at the time, I dont know why but he was, and as it was the first time I'd ever seen him close up all I had to say to him was "who are you", I was such a tit.
