Given we're a part time club I wonder to what extent the team selection was determined by who could get time off work from their day job?

Possibility of penalties? Ah! But no possibility of Pond being in goal.

A fixture we don’t need. Another plastic pitch means yet more injuries. Nice one☹️

This is a potential banana split, I can see Ilkeston going 1-0 up with us fighting back to draw 1-1 and winning the replay 2-0. Okay I was one goal out but I'll take that. Bishop's Cleeve in the next round here we come!

Great result, well done to Caddis and his team. Let's get back behind them now.

Just a thought! Should it have taken Rooney, who has probably played no more than 10 minutes football this season, to have scored the winning goal? What does this say about our so-called strikers? Good that we've got through to the next round though, a few more bob in the kitty.

I think our up to now impressively decent bench may have a bit of space on Saturday? Dropping like flies.
Babos injured?

Caddis' post-game interview doesn't make Babos' injury sound too bad, fingers crossed.

Good that we've got through to the next round though, a few more bob in the kitty. No pleasing some people. We've got through a tricky tie, kept a clean sheet, given some fringe players a run out and, best of all, because it was away from home, we didn't have to watch the game! Onwards and backwards, as the cliché goes.

Sounds like a classic cup tie. We defended well and got the win. All that needed to be done.

Two more injuries. Skinner and Babos.
Hopefully, both ok.

Check their bad boy dugout out... View AttachmentSent from my new pager MT bought me.Isn't that the ride that's always outside HSBC/Old Midland Bank during May fair week? Normally has a safety rail at the front that unlocks and flys upwards during the ride; the senior technician then takes 30 seconds to repair it with a Birmingham screwdriver, ready for the next death defying ride.

Sorry, I didn't realise you were asking who scored our winning goal last night. It was Adam Rooney. Hope that helps
