The games that Boston and Spennymoor have in hand over Hereford are, arguably, both against Banbury on the next two Tuesdays. That will probably mean, in effect, they will go 5 and 4 points above Hereford with only 9 points to play for after that. Even if Hereford overturn that deficit it would still be necessary to overturn 4 points against Curzon Ashton and 2 against South Shields.

I wish you wouldn't be so upbeat about our chances of reaching the play offs.

At least it’s a clear picture for the players and coaching staff now - we have to win the 3 remaining games to have a chance. A win at Scunthorpe, although unlikely, could certainly be a catalyst for the rest of the season and give us that momentum we need, and it would certainly make up for the dropped points against Buxton. For me though, even though it’s been much improved this season, when I look back at the number of games where we have thrown points away and I look at the potential in the squad, I think we actually should have made the play offs. However, that's not taking anything away from Caddis though as we have had lots of injuries at key times and I’m hoping that we can kick on next season under his stewardship (presuming he stays).

Kings Lynn is the one that sticks out.missed pen to go 3 up!

I think of many games where we should have had more points like Kings Lynn at home, Buxton away, Buxton at home, Curzon away etc., and the 5 losses in 6 games early season is also something I look back on. However, I’m sure Caddis would point to many games where we have stolen points as well in all fairness.

Yes. Beadle was jettisoned without ceremony and subsequent managerial appointments have been nothing short of disastrous. Until the most recent one. Caddis clearly has what it takes. He chose to start with a blank canvas and next season I'm convinced that he will construct a squad that will be serious contenders. Assuming that the (meaningfull) shareholders choose to back the project. The club continues to attract the second biggest league attendance and therefore we could be excused for hoping/anticipating that the bean counters will sanction a serious attempt to climb out of the dungeon that is NLN. If it isn't achieved next season, I fear that support will ebb away, never to be recovered. He had one this season, in my opinion, but three centre backs at home has cost us points. "meaningful." Only just understood your spelling correction. A belated thankyou. 😂

We can finish anywhere between 7th and 11th but almost certain to be 11th.
