I thought Cowley and Phillips with Williams just behind, worked really well. Agree. Phillips covers almost as much ground as Cowley.

The pressing was well executed. We looked a useful side.

A consummate performance. Pond 6; Southern 6, Downing 7, Cameron 7; Skinner 6, Hudson 6; Okeke 7, Babos 9; Williams 8; Cowley 7, Phillips 6. Babos everywhere. Williams in a prompting role showed that he has plenty left to offer - also covered a lot of ground. Skinner and Hudson better than 6 wain, and comfortably. Two great hits from Babos, could have been 7-8. Okeke looks very promising, likes running at defenders, was a handful, will be pretty scary on a decent surface. Shame to concede, heard Pond shout for it, but would need to see the highlights before pointing fingers. Excellent support, not many off being the majority. PS were no mugs, but we played them, and the conditions very smartly. Shame really that the season had already fizzled out, bodes well for 24/25 nonetheless. PS. Despite the feast of football, highlight of the evening was the pre match playlist. Stone Roses and The Alan Parsons Project - Sirius - has to be the best walk on track ever. Skinner is probably better than Teixeira in a similar role. Hudson is at least left-footed. I'm also seeing some improvement in your analyses. Street Fightin' Man would be better, however.

It's a tune, for sure, hearing it at Ashton Gate certainly better than any other experience in that stadium, but pretty sure you've dropped a g with no basis for doing so. Rather like your adding of a fizzled, similarly incorrectly.

A cracking win, but as others have said the big three fixtures are coming! 6-7 points from them, will do us justice, 9 and we are on course for the ups and downs of the play-offs.

Colour me more optimistic. 5-7 points in the next 3 (against our play off place rivals) and I'd favour us for play offs. 9 points in those three matches, and I'd start to believe we could beat Scunthorpe in the play off final.

Scunny away on 06/04 has all the trademarks of a playoff final warm up game.

For the first time this season we have made the playoffs in the predicted final league table. View AttachmentI wonder how many teams have done that with a minus goal difference?

Scunny's form has left them, long may this continue. However, the usual names are in the mix and it will be tough regardless.

All the more reason to go all out for going up this season so we can look forward to games against MASSIVE clubs like Dorking and Bromley next year.

God knows what the National League will think of this season’s Northern champions.

A lot of hoofing in the first half but a professional performance and a couple of great goals. The new lad played well and the team worked hard. Onwards.

Not sure I’d call it hoofing in the traditional sense, but there was a clear plan to get the ball forward and into the channels for Cowley and Phillips and it worked quite well. Maybe wouldn’t work as well against stronger teams.
