White Lightning not featuring on the bench tonight. It's beyond a joke now. If he's a fullback then you'll undoubtedly sign him anyway!

Just had a look at our fixtures, three big ones in a row after tonight. This feels like a must win.

I remember him, lived up 3 crosses, big ears, Leeds fan, always worked on the waltzers when the fair came to town.

The new signing, big lad, looks quite useful in the first half.

Currently in final play off position. This will only change if Hereford fail to win or Warrington turn around a 0-2 half time Score.

I’m going for a smash and grab 2-1 win. Cowley and Williams channelling their inner Bannister and Warboys.. But as I’m wrong every time, don’t take that as in any way likely to happen. Smash and grab......go back and grab a bit more! COYB. Fab result

Took the foot off the gas for half an hour but dominanted again as soon as they scored. Too much long stuff from Pond but the pitch was bobby so probably as instructed. Unlike their goal. Would have to see it again but... Anyway the new guy Okeke has a bit of Trent Alexander Arnold about him, sweet right foot and looks pretty special for this level. Which he probably doesn't see himself at. Mom. Brilliant freekick from Babos. We were a lot better than them and until they scored we were playing out a 2-0.

A consummate performance.
Pond 6; Southern 6, Downing 7, Cameron 7; Skinner 6, Hudson 6; Okeke 7, Babos 9; Williams 8; Cowley 7, Phillips 6.
Babos everywhere. Williams in a prompting role showed that he has plenty left to offer - also covered a lot of ground.

Hereford finish in sixth place after Alfreton lost to Spennymoor. Scunthorpe became the latest victim to Darlington's goal rush losing 0-4 as Darlington complete four wins on the trot.

I give up. Why did I think we could keep a clean sheet?

One of the best performances I’ve seen from a midfield in a long time. (As in a one man midfield)

I thought Cowley and Phillips with Williams just behind, worked really well.

Two great hits from Babos, could have been 7-8. Okeke looks very promising, likes running at defenders, was a handful, will be pretty scary on a decent surface. Shame to concede, heard Pond shout for it, but would need to see the highlights before pointing fingers. Excellent support, not many off being the majority. PS were no mugs, but we played them, and the conditions very smartly. Shame really that the season had already fizzled out, bodes well for 24/25 nonetheless. PS. Despite the feast of football, highlight of the evening was the pre match playlist. Stone Roses and The Alan Parsons Project - Sirius - has to be the best walk on track ever.

For the first time this season we have made the playoffs in the predicted final league table.
