On the plus side the queues in Radford's have only reached half a mile since the NHS took over the running of the place. That's only because the results on the pitch are dire.

Wonder how many fans of other clubs view us as the pub team?... Doubt many think we're that good.

Stood next to a chap yesterday as quite often happens don't no his name (why do we never just ask??)he used to be a regular but because of covid concerns and work commitments this was his first game of the season. He like a lot of us enjoyed the first half but again failed to take our chances. But the second half I thought we started well enough and then McLean had a couple of great opportunities but failed to make anything of them and once Evans had to go off we totally capitulated ,even when we managed to scramble it back to 2 all it was no real surprise to any of us who go on a regular basis to concede a third. But very poor it's always a great idea to sit back and watch the opposition score when we should of been in the ascendancy having just equalised. At the end of the game i said that match describes our season completely, get ourselves in a great position and just give the game away, yet another home game we should of won easily not good enough....

What's so frustrating is that players like Pinchard and McLean have potential and with better coaching could go on to be great players, but the management team simply don't know how to improve them. Both came to the club as raw talent with great promise but both have gone backwards under Gowling. Pinchard surely has already had better coaching and ended up with us? Players at this level are generally flawed. In my brief experience of watching Pinchard I'd say he lacks pace. McLean's got pace to burn. If you put the qualities of the two together you'd have a hell of a player. Players at every level are flawed except for GOAT's.

Need a No9 who actually wants it, and desparate to achieve a decent goal tally.

It's that 20 goal a season player that us and every other team in the country is looking for, but don’t disagree we haven't scored enough goals for a number of seasons.

On the plus side the queues in Radford's have only reached half a mile since the NHS took over the running of the place. This is because 44% of the drinks supplied by Radfords are paid for by the money taken on the gate. FACT - I read it in some right wing rag; or it could have been a left wing-back one. Anyway, it wasn't in FourFourTwo.

Why haven't Hereford got a player like Langmead? Learned his trade under the excellent Gary Peters at Shrewsbury, then Gary Johnson at Northampton.
Anyone showing sufficient disrespect for their bodies by drinking the rubbish available in Radford's deserves what's coming to them.

One of the few pluses about our ground is the booze selection, plus the venues.
You compare going into either of the bars to one of them flat pack stadiums that are so common now.
They are going to have as a rule of thumb Carling or that 4% Becks/Stella, Worthington cream flow or whatever it is called, and Strongbow or some other crappy cider.
Then you have to lean against a concrete block wall.
That Footy Bev's/Footy Scran phenomenon has highlighted that non league football has some great offerings. Some of the food at places like Hungerford/Oxford City looks stunning (our food is pretty average), the food at big grounds looks like the food you would imagine astronauts would eat in the future. Foil wrapped burgers.

The top clubs are funny ones. They often have a tie up with some exotic foreign grog. Singha at Stamford Bridge, Asahi at Man City? They are quite nice and pretty strong, problem is they are colder than a slush puppy. Drilling them is painful.

Wrexham are 5hitloads better than us. They'd hit us for 6 or 7. Yeah. The money. I'd never even heard of these two feckers playing fifa 23 fantasy own a club. Wish they'd looked at Hereford though instead. Even my daughter wants to go and see them FFS.

We signed over any influence on our club to four businessmen who wished to remain anonymous, for a measly two hundred thousand. We sold ourselves short and now we're paying for it. Edit: Just to clarify, no amount of money would have put me in the HFC 97%.

I didn't personally but yep, we are. Has there been anything in the way of actual investment? Apart from the initial 50k each? Not looking to stir stuff up just asking because I don't know. Mustve banked a hell of a profit first few seasons.

Just read an interminable piece by somebody calling themselves "Son of Eric."
To whom can I report them?

No extra investment by anyone.
Much of the extra income in the first few years was spent on tidying the stadium.

Thanks Organic. The stadium looked tidy in the first Midlands league game though I thought. Apart from Blackfriars. Appreciate ongoing maintenance required.
