Good game that apart from the obvious. Bit of needle. Good atmosphere. We looked well up for it up until the two killer goals.

Because they have a abysmal manager that is one of the worst I've seen what does he say at half time I'm sorry but just pay him off he has no clue how to manage a football team

Great first half totally on top.
Second half came out like we had left the handbrake on-manager decision or the players?
Bit like v Farsley second half except that Banbury are better than Farsley.
They had nothing until they scored and after that we had nothing.
Not long until May.

“4 points off the play offs” “Give Gowling until the end of the season” “I wonder if the board are worried yet”
Ha.
Face it folks: We’re shit and we know we are.
NOT pessimistic, realistic.

Plan A is OK but then plan B seems just to sit deeper and deeper, lose the initiative and often then the game. Can any one remind me when we came from behind to win a game?

The mosh pit in the meadow end was lively. Like an away game.

I assume Whing gave Banbury a good talking to about that at half-time, and they responded accordingly. They are a decent side these days and sadly, apart from the odd twenty minute flourish every other game, we're not.

To be fair the injury to Evans, meant Hodgkiss came on,match rusty, found it difficult to measure passes. The young forward from Salford, was mobile, caused problems, but was not there in the six yard area ,to challenge for the many crosses that were coming in low. Giving the keeper an easy time. We missed Jethro at the back of the diamond,Lloyd seemed wasted there. We dominated the first half and could have easily scored more. The second half had a ten minute nightmare that we never recovered from ,inspite of equalising. Remarkably an enjoyable game. Funny moment was when the Banbury supporters let off a flare that never left their area to go on the pitch. They were submerged in a Hammer horror red fog that took ten minutes to clear. Not surprisingly, the singing stopped for that time.

The No.20 (from Wrexham?) was handy - but a bit lightweight I guess? Surprised he was withdrawn though. Good player.

That just doesn't seem fair.

“4 points off the play offs” “Give Gowling until the end of the season” “I wonder if the board are worried yet” Ha. Face it folks: We’re shit and we know we are. NOT pessimistic, realistic. By my reckoning we've lost 9 of our last 15 games. Hardly play off form. Like you I'm realistic, we are nowhere near good enough to make the play offs and even if we did, we're nowhere near good enough to go up. Assuming we steer clear of relegation it's going to be a fourth successive season of mid table mediocrity.

Did you like the spirit of the team and the way the fans were behind them today?

They found out early the ref was letting things go and used it to their advantage we did not. Did Gowling tell McLean to go out and play like storey? He did all the hard work and then tamely passed to the keeper. Two waiting unmarked to tap it in at the back post and he passes it to the keeper. Two years and no improvement. Again we were hustled off the ball too easily We keep passing backwards until pendly has to hoof it away straight to their no5 to pass it out to start another attack. Or gets robbed and ends up in our net.

Wasn't there today but I've seen enough this season to know that we don't have a settled side at all, as evidenced by the panic signings of a loan striker this week and a loan midfielder last week. Glad you enjoyed today though, result aside it sounded like a very entertaining game.
