With such a settled team as well which makes it all the more frustrating. Did you like the spirit of the team and the way the fans were behind them today? Wasn't there today but I've seen enough this season to know that we don't have a settled side at all, as evidenced by the panic signings of a loan striker this week and a loan midfielder last week. Glad you enjoyed today though, result aside it sounded like a very entertaining game. Those bloody panic loan signings eating into your monster budget again.

I blame the board for not going full time. Training twice a week just doesn't seem enough given our "monster budget".

I've come to the conclusion I would rather see Jack Holmes playing than McLean ,I've given him the benefit of the doubt far to many times. To many times he gets into some great positions one on one with the keeper and loses out. Twice this afternoon failed to put in a decent pass when it would of resulted in a tap in. No great loss if we don't resigh him next season imo.

By my reckoning we've lost 9 of our last 15 games. Hardly play off form. Like you I'm realistic, we are nowhere near good enough to make the play offs and even if we did, we're nowhere near good enough to go up. Assuming we steer clear of relegation it's going to be a fourth successive season of mid table mediocrity. With such a settled team as well which makes it all the more frustrating. Did you like the spirit of the team and the way the fans were behind them today? Yes, some real tenacity but playing too deep is a habit JG either encourages or can't break. Good atmosphere in A block.

Yet more pathetic excuses from Gowling on BBC Harriers, apparently the referee scored the first two goals for them.
It was deja vue, just like the trophy final,as soon as the opposition changed tactics our manager had no idea.
Where was our best player Jethro?
It# time for Gowling to accept he’s not up to it, he used about 100 players, 98% of which are not good enough.
We’ve now had the double done by the giants on world football, Gloucester bloody city, and Banbury pub team United.

Shouldn't really comment as haven't been to a game for ages. But let's face it results haven't been good enough. It isnt good enough to lose at home to Banbury. It isn't good enough to finish mid or lower mid table again.
Or maybe it is?
Is it fine for a new club to get this far and sit in this league for 20 years? It's quite a good achievement.
But for Hereford United to sit here for even this long wouldve been a fxxcking disgrace.

Josh says its ok results went our way today so we only dropped one place. Thats ambition for you only drop one place by losing to pub teams. Either he must know he's gone at the end of the season or he's got something on the board. If so what is it? answers on a postcard please.

That was the straw that broke the camels back for me . Pinchard should of been swapped for holmes and McLean hung out to dry in second half . The formations he uses don't work and I'm sick of this blaming on refs and injuries . Let's be honest if he was in charge of any other side in step 5/6 would be gone a long time ago

Obviously no clue here really living miles away but following obviously - in black and white the club has stalled. Ok that happens. But is there any desire to move onward and upwards? Hammered by a 200k loss on the last accounts is the business plan just to consolidate? What about Edgar Street, what Is happening around the shrinking lease? Is it management or owners? It isn't the fan base - proven there still is a sizeable one even when the results are iffy. Someone is accountable.

No great loss if we don't resigh him next season imo. Because on each occasion he found himself needing to make that decent pass with his left foot. He is right footed. It's the same with this lad Thompson-Sommers who plays exclusively on the right and he is left-footed. In this side, devoid of Salah, this boneheaded approach has failed all season. It never leads to goals. Gowling is palpably useless. Visser 5; Andoh 6, Pendley ("MOM") conceded space to Langmead for both of the game's best player's goals 4, Amadi-Holloway 5, Evans 5; Lloyd 7, Jarvis inexplicably withdrawn 7, Pinchard inexplicably playing at all 4, Thompson-Sommers 5; McLean 5 Oppong 6. Absolutely hopeless. 5 goals in a game completely lacking any kind of pattern. Hereford FC lost at home to a piss-poor outfit.

What's so frustrating is that players like Pinchard and McLean have potential and with better coaching could go on to be great players, but the management team simply don't know how to improve them. Both came to the club as raw talent with great promise but both have gone backwards under Gowling.

Players at this level are generally flawed. In my brief experience of watching Pinchard I'd say he lacks pace. McLean's got pace to burn. If you put the qualities of the two together you'd have a hell of a player.

On the plus side the queues in Radford's have only reached half a mile since the NHS took over the running of the place.
