Lots of people apparently wasted a good deal of time waiting for Mr Corbyn to produce a cost figure for something within the Labour manifesto this morning when interviewed on Radio 4.
Couldn't recall the figure, couldn't find it within the manifesto he had in his hand, couldn't get his iPad to light up with the figure on demand etc. etc.
Must have taken instruction from Ms Abbott.
And the saintly Barry Gardiner attempted to deflect attention away by criticising the Conservatives on The World At One.
Labour can't remember their own figures, the Conservatives don't provide any figures to forget, nor do they answer any questions, it's all just bluster and obfuscation.
This election is turning into a farce.
As others have said, I don't trust or believe any of them.

Jeremy Paxman has become a corpulent parody of himself.

'Lost in showbiz' is a little more polite.
But I prefer yours.

Having been in The Vaga the other night, it's about time burqas were made compulsory. (If you ask me).

People would have been having a field day on social media if that had been May.

Quite possible I'm being dense again but given that the NHS is largely paid for by National Insurance tax surely an increase in popular shouldn't affect anything?! All immigration arguments are also laid as ridiculous. I agree that people go a bit nuts with it all. I've only used it once and I felt guilty even then - it's a comfort blanket imo and should be treated as such. I meant to define the ageing population part of my post. Think of all the folks over 60+ that no longer contribute but use the nhs compared to say 50 years ago when the average lifespan was a lot lower. And I dare say there are a lot more people who are unemployed now compared to back then. %Think of all the people 60+ who have worked and paid for 50 years or more, sometimes we paid more sometimes less as demanded by incumbents in power, but pay we did. Now you're saying we are not entitled to that which we largely paid for. Everyone gets old, even you one day.

I'd quoted on a fairly big network print solution and was asked by the client how I'd arrived at one of the figures. I didn't have the file in front of me and damned if I could remember the exact computation...it happens.

Also, who do these young'uns think paid for their NHS before they started work?

Not that anyone who is retired should now have to pay in more than they already have.

Whilst I can accept people making mistakes it really is unacceptable on the day his policy was being launched. After the Abbot fiasco it must have been covered in his briefing so either a) he can't cope under pressure or b) he just struggles to take things in. Either way I just can't bring myself to imagine the man leading the country.

Yep, I'll give you that but the point remains. Typically most don't start to pay NI until they're, say, 18/19 now meaning that for that time they've received treatment funded by their elders. So, the elders receiving treatment after they finish working redresses the balance?
Edit...to JC

He should have known the answer but, unless you're desperately seeking to pick holes (which is what most of this campaign seems to be based on), then I think it's perhaps understandable.
