Thought the atmosphere was dead. Happy with everything else. Good tight game in terms of getting the three points. We were way better than them, but if we had gone 2-3 goals ahead it would have been less entertaining than sweating over the three points.

Not the greatest of games, but that is to be expected now and again. Apart from the one howler, much better defensively which everyone (me included) was calling for after the Coleshill fiasco. On another day, we could have scored four and five. I didn't think the atmosphere was that bad.

I really liked the players walking round at the end as one. With no old pros in todays team that must be a great feeling for them - probably not having played infront of half decent crowds much before.

Atmosphere poor 1st half, when playing towards the M.E. 2nd half atmosphere a lot better.

Good result,3 points that's all you ask for. I thought the game was awful but pleased with the win.

Thought atmosphere wise it was decent in parts but nothing better overall than average. Enjoyed the game broadly but three points is all that matters

Perhaps the rules should be amended to reflect the fact that our CF inexplicably finds it easier to hit the post than the goal itself...

Atmosphere poor 1st half, when playing towards the M.E. 2nd half atmosphere a lot better. This ^^^ Fans need to get behind the boys more first half as well IMHO. The game is not 45 minutes long. Very flat at times given how many were on the Meadow End. Put more in and you get more out. I was cheering the start of the move out of defence that ended in our first goal. If we hadn't scored it would still have been good football so why not show our appreciation when they get it right even as they build from the back? Let's make it hard for the opposition all match long.

Let's make it hard for the opposition all match long. Cracking pass to take the defender out of the equation during the build up to that. On watching the footage (cheers for doing that) I am sure that was Mills. Not really what you expect of him - I don't mean that in a critical way, he is normally sniffing around by the goals making mischief.

Again, an interesting post by Asturd. Thought the atmosphere was pretty flat TBH. Don't think Harvey had a save to make. Schoolboy error for their goal, again. Any other day we could have scored 4 or 5, some free headers that we should have done better with, Mills hit the post and thought we had a really strong handball shout in the second half. Ground out a win. Sign of a good side.

Good win and now last night of the proms. Happy Days. I thought the England cricket team's last match was tomorrow?

To be frank, atmosphere is always going to an issue at the level we're at, without much in the way of opposition support.

There was very little 'awesome' chanting or singing today I'm afraid. Lacking in atmosphere throughout, especially first half. Lack of visiting support doesn't help.

I looked out at the empty Blackfriars yesterday and thought: "Damn, I miss the away fans, when they had the whole end. I even miss seeing how crazy they go when they score, and comparing how passionate each away following was. (As long as we scored one more, of course). OK all that was a while ago but boy, did it make for an atmosphere.)
