I believe they will all join the HUST board without a vote. Am I correct?

I believe they will all join the HUST board without a vote. Am I correct? from the HUST election policy: 8.3 If there are as many or fewer candidates than there are places, an affirmative ballot shall be held at the AGM. Each successfully nominated candidate will be put before the meeting for the approval of members. Any candidate not receiving the support of more than half of those present in person and by proxy shall be deemed to have not been elected

It's encouraging that there are people who are prepared to put time and effort into the Trust on our behalf. HUST should be a fairly major player in HFC going forward.

All sound pretty good to me. Let the Spanish inquisition begin Now that they have got that out of the way, do you think they can find time to answer numerous peoples emails requesting clarification on any of their senior peoples involvement with the well publicised undercover antics?

Why hasn't Andy Munsley been nominated after all the good work he's done for the club?

Every candidate standing for election seems to have been nominated by an existing HUST Board Member. Bit disappointing that.

But of course, independents and none yes men wouldn't be welcome. How would the HUST board function if someone, heaven forbid, actually questioned what the board were doing and in particular what HFC were doing.
Representation of the fans my Harris. Rubber stamped for HFC more like.

Well if no one else puts themselves forward not sure what else can be done. If all of them are approved, that still leaves 2 positions, so could people be nominated at the AGM? And what if I know as a fact (not FACT) that another name was put forward?

Do any of them post on here? One registered today/overnight I think. I've nothing against the individuals who have been nominated by the way.

What if someone put themselves forward and during the interview process made it known they intended to be the fans representative and would hold the board to account accordingly and then found their application to be rejected. What would your view be on that Grayham? On your second question then no they cannot be elected by the membership at the AGM but the board then in place could co-opt them on to the board until either an EGM is called or until the next AGM held

One of them is an expert in 'negotiation and conflict resolution', which has got to be a plus.
Bringing peace to Somalia and the Niger Delta is surely the perfect training ground for a HUST board member.

I too have nothing against those on the list.
In particular Andy Carr has been of particular assistance in answering various questions I have raised.
I do not know the others.
I was also lead to believe that Ellen Wilson (surname might be wrong) had applied but her name is missing from the listing.

Funny that it's got to the point that you have to categorically state that you're looking to represent the fans when applying for a position within a supporters trust.
And then be rejected on that basis.
Great supporters trust.

Rubber stamped for HFC more like. How do you know they are yes men?. Well one of them says "As, with only a week to go before nominations for a place on the HUST Board closed, nobody had volunteered take on the membership role Chris Williams approached me to consider putting my name forward." And low and behold in the words of the man from DelMonte he say..... I also know for a fact that someone offered to take on the membership role some months ago and was ignored.

On your second question then no they cannot be elected by the membership at the AGM but the board then in place could co-opt them on to the board until either an EGM is called or until the next AGM held Did the fans vote for this person to be their representative?. A bit presumptuous to go to an interview dictating terms, without a mandate, would be my opinion. That is without doubt the most bizarre comment I have seen yet from someone who clearly has a modicum of intelligence. Do you understand the concept of putting yourself up for election? To answer your question, the fans look they will be denied the opportunity to cast that vote. And that is deeply deeply worrying.
