Certainly. At the moment our team will not thrash other teams. Ok? Any other teams? Can we have a wager on this please?

Well first up, I am not Martin, second you were the one moaning about people posting what they want to post without censorship and third, I agree, perhaps I am not cut out to be a moderator. Are you asking me to stand down? If yes say so, if not shut up. It's perfectly simple. Like the old BB board you just subdivide this board into a main forum and a "snorting bull" forum for off topic childishness. If people try to derail a thread with jokes and off topic posts, delete the posts and send the poster a warning. If they persist ban them for a few days, if they carry on, ban them permanently. If you do all that you might make a decent moderator yet!
It's always the same: Just as I'm getting into a thread, somebody comes along and derails it by complaining about posters derailing the thread, or the standard of moderating. Or else they complain about off topic childishness. Is there any other reason to post on here? (emoticon thingy with the face of an angel)
Oi, Admin, sort it out!

Play the right way that is what beadle says, I could understand that if we were a big club in a big league, but we are pub team, in a pub league , who gives a f##k how we play as long as we win, he needs to get real, he. Has no TV pundits to impress

Just 2000+ fans who bemoaned Foyle for his horrendous footballing ethos.

Just 2000+ fans who bemoaned Foyle for his horrendous footballing ethos. I agree we all moaned but that was mainly because we were sh#te and losing more than we were winning, guarantee that if we had been in the top 5 all season hardly anyone would have moaned about hoof ball

Absolutely not! Knowing the way Hereford football fans like the way their football is served up, any style other than on the ground and through midfield will drive them away in droves. I will certainly not, again, pay to see Foyle ball, it's like watching synchronised swimming without the smiley faces.

Honestly, I'd have preferred good football and mid-table. Edit: Not as drossy as season two to be fair.

I thought it was a rhetorical question personally. Incidently. Beadles earnings are attendance linked. Does that make attractive football or results more important to him ? That's a big shout. How'd you find that out?

Petersball is only acceptable if you're winning every game and dominating the league and even then it wouldn't be worth actually turning up to watch - a style of football best watched on teletext. Football - and sport in general - is all about entertainment.

I cannot believe what I have just read in the HT. a football club manager asking the supporters how they want the team to play. Come on Peter Beadle. You are the main paid to lead this club, recruit the players to win football matches and ideally get us promoted out of this cabbage patch standard of football. 5 matches in you are saying, "what shall I do?". "I don't want to play like everyone else, but I will, if you want me to." five minutes later we have made an approach for a defender widely touted on this very forum. The fans are picking the side already. Why pay £25k (a guess) to a so called manager if all he does is ask the fans. Shocking. Professional football, more like a pub team or the supporters team. Where's Oxo? Have a go at it Oxo. Would Clough or Ferguson or Mourinho ask the fans. No of course not. We respect them as the professional experts to get the job done. If they don't, we expect them to be moved on. "how do you want to play?" FFS. Get a grip Beadle. Stop whinging about how the opposition play and counter it. They have been more successful than you to date! But 5 matches in - come on. Man up or F. Off. Made me smile at least so thanks for that!

Ordinarily, I'd agree. But this pub league shit is a big old game changer for me. Thanks to a series of potentially avoidable events, I find myself faced with the choice of watching what has replaced my home town team at this godforsaken level, or watching local football at a choice of destinations in the county in which I live, all at a much higher level.* Get as high as possible up the leagues by any means possible and you can entertain me later. Hereford United didn't play at this level during my years as a supporter. ** * Not that I've been to ES yet this season.
** If they had, the level of football wouldn't have been an issue.

Do you think i would travel loads of miles to watch players do what my son is taught not to do? A ridiculous concept. For the last time, you don't have to be a clogger to defend, and you don;t have to be Franco Baresi to be able to make simple passes. Jesus wept.
