A family member of mine is paid £400 a week playing for a championship club (Under 21's), so £1200 at this level seems a little unlikely. Seems like the club, set up and prestige got the guy to sign. Also have to say he seemed genuinely emotional when talking about leaving the Swifts.

If set-up and prestige alone got him to sign then I'm a Spaniard. Not alone but it was certainly an overriding factor. Was the only player getting paid at all at Stourport and that wasn't a great deal; we could quintuple his wages (and I'd guess we probably have). |

What is it with everyone speculating on wages? In this country its a hush hush matter, lets keep it that way. We all should be cheering on our team, not trying to cause unrest. People need to step up or shut up.
