Agree re: the captaincy. If we can go and get the win on Saturday now against a good Heanor team it'll put down a bit of a marker for the rest of the season, hopefully.

I like Summers but I think Jamer will retain his place (when his suspension ends) because he reads the game so well and is still pretty quick. I think indecision on who is going to attack the first ball has been our undoing this season so far.

Just watched his interview on Youtube. What a bloke he seems. Yes! As well as being exactly the type of player we need he seems to have the right sort of attitude and character. This could turn out to be one of the key moments of our season. |

I just realised Jamie Willets now takes the record for Hereford FC's record transfer fee. I expect the fee of £0.00 will be eclipsed by quite a margin one day but he will go down in history as the first holder of the record.

And he seems fairly intelligent too, which is a plus. I wouldn't be surprised if he was given the captaincy - not sure Joel is vocal enough for the job. He showed real class with his comments about Swifts and agree comes across as an intelligent lad too. |

I thought going back to mid August that we need a month or so to bed in and gel as a team.
We've obviously struggled in games and now with a new CB and a few tweeks here and there we can push on.
At the end of the day (we're only what 3 wins off the top?) so let's get behind the lads and push on. Hope Page starts over Wheatley again as the latter needs to man up and bully his marker more.
A leader from the back could change things dramatically and anyone who's played any level of football will know what a motivator in the team can do.

At last we realise what's needed to win this league. Good signing but we need a few more. Keeper made some good saves against Westfields but his lack of height is still a problem for me. Also a good defensive midfielder should be on our wanted list. Then we should progress!!

Really pleased with this signing.Perhaps we should try to sign their winger also,as what happens if we can't extend Page's loan, which expires in January with Cheltenham until the end of the season.

What if the other wingers available are actually not of that quality and he has signed elsewhere?. |
