Jamie Willet's and Jamie Baldwin due in this week. Both from Stourport. Baldwin is currently on dual-reg terms with Stourbridge - would be interesting to see what happens with regards that. I wonder if Baldwin is the one that Willets thought we should be interested in and the one that he refers to as Cussy. |

It's ok guys, don't panic, under the newly introduced "deadline day" rules you can still complete deals after the official close of the window. As long as you can prove that someone connected to your club has had a vague idea a transfer should take place before the deadline you can have about 24 years grace to get the deal finalised.

And he seems fairly intelligent too, which is a plus. I wouldn't be surprised if he was given the captaincy - not sure Joel is vocal enough for the job.

Interesting to see who makes way on Saturday and how much impact he has I thought Oates did ok the other night (although we shipped 5) so I'd pair Jamie with him or Summers tbh. TJ has jet to prove himself altho maybe with a commanding stopper alongside he'll prove us wrong. Either way great signing and we'll done! Still need a bone cruncher in cm for my liking. |

I don't think I have ever been so excited about the signing of a defender! I really think this guy is head and shoulders above every other central defender I have seen in this league so far and hopefully his prescence and no nonsense approach will see us shore up our leaks and thus give the players in front the confidence and freedom to play to the level we are capable of.
I would be very tempted to make him captain straight away.
