Agree we could have done with that pacey winger when hitting them on the break. Taxi for Bundi.

I was told yesterday that Grant has gone to Africa for Christmas, and Bundu is in Plymouth. The concern for me is that with Page being out of the game, and Tumelty not doing anything for me, either would have been a definite starter for the next few games in my opinion. The team is looking short of pace/width at present. Feck me you are hard to please WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I take your point, but after 41 years I am very easy to please. I am enjoying this season/run as much as everybody. I just don't yet subscribe to the mantra that this league 'was won in January'. Our recent performances have been enough to get by and get results, of which I am still over the moon about. Obviously the pitches are levelling us out, but I still think we miss Page hugely. Tumelty is workmanlike but he is not a natural winger with pace/width/trickery. Bundu/Grant both have that. Just my opinion though.....

It's obvious a disappointment if Bundu can't play on Boxing Day, but I thought Haysham had a decent game on left-wing yesterday.
Surely with Haysham, Mills and Symons up top, we'll be too strong for Westfields and Coventry Sphinx too.

Why leave it to chance, can you imagine let's say we lose one nil to Westfields and the one thing we could all see what was missing was the industry and inventfullness of Bundu.

My concern with starting Haysham, Mills and Symons is that it doesn't give us any options on the bench. We did okay on Saturday but, had we been level or a goal down, we didn't have anything else to throw at them for the last half an hour. PB knew it as well, no subs made til the last few minutes?

Back to the question in hand. Is it true that A) Bundu is in Plymouth? B) he wants to play the fixtures in question? C) PB would like to have him available and would play him in the fixtures at some point? If the answers are Yes, Yes, and Yes then do we have know of any Bulls fans in the Plymouth area who are coming to these matches? If so I see no problem in seeing if we can arrange him a lift. It may be a bit tinpot but on the other hand if I could help the club and player this way I would. We are one big family after all! (including occassional rows, the Issue that must never be mentioned lest we all start bickering, and that annoying uncle)
Lets remember that he's a long way from home and that he's a student, I don't know his circumstances but I was never particullary 'flush' when I was a student. My view is that if he is prepared to run his heart out for 90 minutes on a cold wet Boxing Day afternoon for little more than a round of applause and the apreciation of the badge then the least we can do is give him a lift if he needs one.
