Well, the Hartpury thing is a bit Tinpot and goes along with the 'Max on holiday, Joel at a wedding' earlier. Grant seems to me to be someone who can do Page's job and maybe start wide right. Joe T had a poor game there yesterday and probably should have come off earlier than he did. I guess Beadle probably reckons he's got enough on the bench for the likes of Westfields, Sphinx and Wulfrunians. After that he will have Bundu and Grant back. No lifts needed then. Based on the statement we should hopefully have Bundu for Sphinx & Wulfrunians if needed because there are trains running on those days.

If Bundu can't play because he cannot get to the ground and the club cannot sort something out it is an absolute disgrace.
Pay for a taxi or a chauffeur. Where is all the extra money that has come in to the club above the budget for the season?
Farce.

What are the facts? We're all trying to sort things out for the lad, and as usual blaming others. No change there then.

Do we know where he needs transport from? The article says only somewhere in the UK... I think it is poor wording in the article that has got everyone excited. It's making out he can't play because he can't drive. So that implies he is in driving distance. And blaming Hartpury because he can't stay there. If that was also an issue surely the club could have paid for a hotel. Would have been better just to say he is simply not available. But would not be the first time the club has put a a badly written announcement.

I think there is a 'plan' should Bundu be needed on Boxing Day

Buy a camp bed and stick him in the starlite rooms for a couple of nights.

Don't think I'd want to spend Christmas on my own in the satellite rooms or a Hotel for that matter.

Maybe as these guys are students living away from home they want to spend some time with their families over Christmas rather than play football.

I was told yesterday that Grant has gone to Africa for Christmas, and Bundu is in Plymouth.
The concern for me is that with Page being out of the game, and Tumelty not doing anything for me, either would have been a definite starter for the next few games in my opinion.
The team is looking short of pace/width at present.

Perhaps a door might be opened for sol to come back? Was there any reason given for bundu not being in the squad yesterday or is it simply because he has gone away for Christmas?

I like Tumelty, feel he is one of those quite unsung guys.

If the club pay for Bundu to travel or stay in hereford, then isn't that unfair on all the other players who don't live in the city?

Not sure there's an issue here is there? It's a bit amateur if Bundu wants to play but can't get to the game. But neither him or Sirdic played yesterday and we won, as we have done many times already this season without them. We could do with someone to replace Adam Page while he's out, and it's possible that Carlos, Sirdic or Mustapha could fulfil that role, but, as the latter two are likely to be back for our big January games, we only have to get through Westfields and Coventry Sphinx without them and our available squad should be more than adequate for that.

Tumelty is never short on effort but that's no substitute for the lack of quality in his work yesterday. He obviously found the surface hard going but to his credit kept going until hooked. We definitely need pace on at least one flank.

It's not wrong to suggest improvements.....if you don't improve people will overtake you eventually......

In the second half yesterday when Lye were pushing forward a pacey winger would have ripped them to shreds.
