Was just thinking that myself after reading Bullsnews. There'd be no shortage of volunteers as long as he's not spending Christmas in Inverness.

Sorry I know it's Xmas and I know it's time for family etc so I'll say it quietly..,.. it is a little bit tinpot.

We are very much a semi-pro side now and this is our reality.
However, given our fantastic supporters I'm almost certain someone could liaise with the club and work this out.

We should ask Soju to give him a lift.

We should ask Soju to give him a lift. As long as Bundu refuses all suggestions to stop off at a 'local viewpoint'.

Their choice I imagine - they're students after all. Mike Symonds is on the staff at Hartpury - I'm sure he could have sorted something for them if they had wanted to stay and play.

At the risk of causing forum meltdown maybe HUST could donate or better still the club pay for a taxi. There's some pretty rich blokes around the chairman so I'm sure he could organise something rather than the fans having to donate at Christmas time.

Is this going to happen at Easter as well? You would have hoped that plans would have been in place. We're not exactly blessed with a big squad.

It is a pity our old Chairman AL isn't still at the helm. He could have starred in a WI style nude calendar. That would have raised more than enough dough.

Hello people HFC are a step 9 club in a red lanyard league. Is it in the league rules that you have to be run like a step 9 club then?

Not the same I think as there is some public transport at Easter. The really tinpot part is that public transport in this country is almost totally non existent on Xmas & Boxing Days. From what I know that is not the case anywhere else in W Europe.

Well, the Hartpury thing is a bit Tinpot and goes along with the 'Max on holiday, Joel at a wedding' earlier.
Grant seems to me to be someone who can do Page's job and maybe start wide right. Joe T had a poor game there yesterday and probably should have come off earlier than he did.
I guess Beadle probably reckons he's got enough on the bench for the likes of Westfields, Sphinx and Wulfrunians. After that he will have Bundu and Grant back. No lifts needed then.

Public transport also used to be running, Sunday service. Could it be that things were better before 1980?
