Exactly. The arrogance of the EU is astonishing. It should be the UK that dictates the terms of our departure, not the other way round. As vectabull says, Theresa May is a remainer forced by democracy to carry out a policy she doesn't believe in. We need a Boris or ever a Nigel to show the EU whose boss and that we won't be dictated to by petty unelected bureaucrats. Post of the month! Argues against both democracy and unelected bureaucracy in a single paragraph. That takes some doing. "forced by democracy" - A modern example of the Arthurian Dilemma? Let's hope not, as he ended up going to war with the French over it. catch of the month more like. Top wumming.

However, the second paragraph would be such a higher standard than foxwhelp's previous attempts that it was either, a). A true reflection of foxwhelp's thinking b). Accidental c). Written by somebody else (surely not) If it was genuine wumming then I apologise to foxwhelp; brilliant, and I'm looking to get out of this net.

Don't need the Empire. The balance of trade should be enough. How many times has Nigel been elected, then??? If Boris had precised his speech to: "We have nothing to fear except fear itself", he would have saved some breath. He didn't say anything else.

“How many times has Nigel been elected, then???”
I have no position on this, but Wainwrong’s statement above illustrates perfectly the problem of any kind of debate about this subject. Nigel Farage (I’m guessing this is the Nigel being referred to) is an elected MEP and has been so for a number of years. Van Rumpouy, Barnier, Junker, Tusk and others are appointed ie have not had to subject themselves to a ballot. That is what many people dislike about the EU - people like Mr F can get elected to its parliament and it is run by a load of placemen. Very few women have ever held any significant office either.
Until everyone properly understands these subtleties there is no point firing off any kind of view that can be taken seriously. I have been waiting since that idiot Cameron announced the referendum for both sides to make a coherent and well thought out case on their position. Like everyone else I’m still waiting.....

"Migrants working in the adult social care sector contribute £4.4bn to the English economy annually, according to figures released to mark the One Day Without Us (1DWU) event. Now in its second year, 1DWU celebrates the contribution to the UK of migrants," Clearly a completely unbiased source of news. I wouldn't trust the Guardian to get the date right!

Ah bless! The poor remoaners still can't get over the fact they lost. The rest of us will look forward to brighter times and greater prosperity ahead once we've broken free of Brussel's shackles.

The engine was made in Bridgend but I'm guessing the car was put together in Germany.

No mention of Owen Smith getting sacked in here then. Tbf maybe Corbyn just made a mistake and thought he was Jewish.

Labour increased their Jewish vote in the last election, despite what you read in the trashy right wing press.

Labour increased their Jewish vote in the last election, despite what you read in the trashy right wing press. This has nothing to do with Jewish people voting or not voting for Labour. The issue that they are protesting is about the abuse they are receiving from within their own party.
