The table is so congested.
Most likely with games in hand considered we are really on the outskirts of the play off spots.
No more 3 in 4 loss runs. We can't afford it. Where Caddis deserves credit is for making changes this season, almost every week he has made or been forced into it. And he certainly got it right today.
No Tate and it didn't matter.

Pleased to have actually got the right score in the Prediction League for once. Thanks Mark Derricott Bugger! Thought I’d be the only one daft enough to go 4-0 Seems I’m not alone! 🙄

Somehow Matwasa and Teixeira have just played 90 minutes of football. Babos played 18 and Andy Williams 14. If that's good management I'll take it back what I said about Michael Gonzague.
Donaghy (nothing to do, kicked well but looked decidedly less than commanding) 6; Bartley 7.5, Preston 7.5, Howkins 7, Hudson 7; Matwasa (got his foot in defensively sometimes, quite combative but woefully slow)) 5.5, D'Ath 7, Teixeira 5, Ceesay 5; Cowley 8.75, Rooney 6.
When Cowley presses he has the quickness to be effective; he has been missed big time. Excellent contribution. Good at heading goals - like Williams; none of the rest of the team will head goals. Bartley may well make a name for himself. Preston and Howkins very good albeit against strugglers. Howkins comfortably the most consistent performer so far this season. Shocking opposition. Excellent referee. Game started at exactly 3 pm after 77 seconds silence. British Legion somewhat lacking in drill, however.

Ceesay might argue.

I note that you have confirmed my earlier comments regarding him having nothing to do whilst being able to kick well. For me, Texeira and Matwasa performed at a greater level than your measly scores suggest. D'Ath has clearly improved dramatically since you last remarked upon his efforts. 😉 I agree re: Bartley. He has the athleticism, skill and poise to make quite a name for himself. We should enjoy his presence whilst it lasts. And yes, the referree was both intelligent and competent. A pleasing exception to the rule at this level.

(A bloke, by the way, who used to bat a bit for Goodrich. He will have been relieved I didn't mention the time when he was caught at second slip, didn't walk because "I didn't hit it" and the reliably compliant home umpire expressing his agreement. Good old Eric.)

Are you sure the umpire wasn’t Ally from Bringsty?!

He always scores Howkins high and Tex low.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg, his ratings unfortunately aren't objective otherwise they would be a commendable addition here.

I think we play a lot better with Rooney in the side. He doesn’t appear to do a lot but is very good at organising and linking things together on the pitch. Howkins is Mr Reliable and just does his job. Ceesay was just knackered yesterday. Understandable after carrying the rest of the team Tuesday night. While nothing spectacular I thought Matwassa made us a lot more balanced. Trying to shoehorn Babas into the side doesn’t work. Still need another midfielder though.

Are you sure the umpire wasn’t Ally from Bringsty?! No, this was the egregious Mr Winchester of Goodrich. Right up there with Harry Miles of Hereford City Sports Club. And the Two Sids. Harvey and Vicious of Herefordians and Hay respectively...

From 46 mins until 75 mins there was only one team in it and it wasn’t us. Reverted to Tuesday night can’t hold the ball and can’t pass to each other. Can’t blame the pitch for not being able to pass the ball to a team mate 10 yards away. Hoof the ball forward and hope it goes somewhere near one of our players. Marine got an awful load of good crosses into our box their problem is their front players could not convert. A better team would have scored a hatful against us. Aka Chester.

Which in a way, bodes well. 4-0 may have been a little flattering, but with Campbell, Samson, Skinner to return, plus a new body (or two), we should be stronger. And in division chock full of weird results, it’s surely glass half full right now.

Presume you saw the latest attempt by Teixeira to get an opponent sent off? The referee helped him to his feet knowing there was nothing wrong with him; the management probably get him to do all that stuff precisely because he's 5 foot 3. Bloody disgrace. Makes one ashamed to be a Hereford FC supporter. Don't remember "United" players doing that. Get shot.

I remember Chris Price regularly going down in the opposition penalty area like he’d been shot. He was very very good at it.
I also recall quite a few players pretending to be professional footballers. One even pretended to be a former international. They were not quite so good at it.
