Don't think it's money that stops us getting loan players. Caddis just won't tell the league clubs "they will be in the starting XI" so they won't give us the players in case they sit on the bench. Is that written as knowledge or speculation, Luke? It’s correct,Caddis has confirmed as much more than once during an interview.

Of course any loan deal for a youngster worth having is going to come with strings attached. He should negotiate and tell the player's parent club "look, I can't guarantee him a starting place but let us borrow him for 3 months and if he doesn't get enough game time you can terminate the loan early". Better that than some journeyman striker from the league below us.

We obviously can’t carry on with a squad of the size we have available. Poor discipline is also contributing to the situation we find ourselves in. Teixera, D’Ath, Robinson and now Babos have missed games and there must be a couple more players near to a suspension for the bookings they’ve had. Injuries to Skinner, Robinson, Bitemo and Cowley have been other reasons for unsettled team. No point bringing in players from lower clubs if they are not going to be good enough. One would think one good loan deal would pay for itself with fans through the gate. Otherwise crowds will tail off and the early momentum will be gone. I think the early momentum walked out after 70 minutes last night CEESAY can be a good player and when he does get the ball three Oxford players last night moved in his direction to cover him. Problem is his speed on a breakaway none of our strikers could catch up with him.

Month loan, he had to start a game at some point as part of the loan terms? *A friend of mine (not a Hereford fan) came to the Curzon game with me. Deacon came on as sub, I said he's on loan from someone. Mate said ... What? On loan from f.kin Greggs?

It's all unravelling now. We need to jettison a bare minimum of Matwasa, Deacon, Teixeira and D'Ath (he'll never affect the game in their half). We need to encourage this novice manager to instil some discipline into the players. Don't get what Rooney is all about. Probably superfluous.
Everything is happening on the cheap. Well, it would with an impecunious board of directors?

Its the last game of the season, we need 3 points for promotion, who plays Deacon or Rooney?

Another potentially interesting and informative thread hijacked by the clique and their tedious in-jokes. It's about time Admin took a firmer line with these jokers.

If we don't win convincingly on Saturday I think Caddis will get a lot of stick and the honeymoon period will be well and truly over.

It doesn't help that the players are travelling to home and away matches and to training.I don't know how to realistically get around this

There is no point giving the gaffer stick, he must be as frustrated as everyone else by the apparent lack of funds.
I have no idea where all the gate money goes, it’s 5 times more than some other clubs get.

No matter how avid a fan you may be, if you're regularly having to watch points thrown away by stupid indiscipline, and players who fail to consistently reach a decent standard, why would you continue to turn up week in, week out. If it cost us to get some real talent in, then Paul Caddis has a chance of producing results, and performances, that will keep the fans through the turnstiles and increase the income. Re Babos, His form seems to have deserted him recently, and from being a "must play" he's dropped back into the anonimity of just being part of the squad.

Unfortunately with the size of our squad and injury problems Babis is on the team sheet whether he performs on the pitch or not. We are in a no competition for places position.

He must be so frustrated,in charge of one of the biggest supported non league clubs in the country, with very little money to bring in players. To be looking at players available from clubs below us in unacceptable for a club this size. You might unearth the odd gem but if you keep recruiting from the league below then sooner or later you'll be playing in the league below!
