Chay Tilt has gone then. Appreciate we have some injuries but as a fan its now or never Mr Caddis. Or else it will be 969 attendance on a Tuesday night. Which let's face it would still be good for this ROTTEN LEAGUE.
You've got one task Paul Caddis. Get us fecking out of it.

Ceesay MOM, is that for the one that started or the one we brought on in the second half?

Ceesay MOM, is that for the one that started or the one we brought on in the second half? I thought he was one of the only players who at least showed a bit of effort & threat in that otherwise god awful first half display. Him or D'Ath for MoM. Would genuinely take Joey Butlin back over Deacon...sweet lord.

Trying to bring in new players from lower divisions, what’s that all about?
All we hear is the lack of budget so where is all the gate money going?
Does every other club bar Scunthorpe have rich owners who are pumping in thousands of pounds every week.
We are getting approx 2300 every home game but appear to have less budget than clubs averaging 500.

Before our previous home game one of the players came up in conversation, his usefulness was brought up, the discussion ended with someone piping up with "I hear he is cheap though".

Increasingly disappointing home results = increasingly disappointing crowd numbers. It’s a tailspin. Mid-table is looming and it’s not good enough. A playoff place is the minimum we should be aiming for. While we want club long term sustainability, this might be the time for a measured speculation and a cash injection.

Had the choice of staying in and watching The Great British Bake Off or going to the match, it transpires I made the boring choice. Babos hopelessly failed the "technical challenge", twice. A "show stopper" performance alone up front in the second half by Ceesay was the only positive. Why on earth was Deacon on the pitch, why would he be on any pitch, embarrassing to watch. Think I will make a Victoria Sponge on Saturday!

Another refreshingly honest post match interview by the gaffer, but he did seem a bit down.
He must be so frustrated,in charge of one of the biggest supported non league clubs in the country, with very little money to bring in players. To be looking at players available from clubs below us in unacceptable for a club this size.
How long before he has had enough and quits?

So disappointing last night. You may disagree but I'm not sure what Caddis is seeing in Babos that I am not, leaving aside the ridiculous double yellow which he deserved, I do see what it is he is bringing to the side. If he is meant to be the creative player behind the front man, he needs to take a look at the Oxford No.10 who carried far more threat whenever he saw the ball - any chance of a swap !!! And Deacon offers nothing. 2 out please and let's move on.

We obviously can’t carry on with a squad of the size we have available. Poor discipline is also contributing to the situation we find ourselves in. Teixera, D’Ath, Robinson and now Babos have missed games and there must be a couple more players near to a suspension for the bookings they’ve had. Injuries to Skinner, Robinson, Bitemo and Cowley have been other reasons for unsettled team. No point bringing in players from lower clubs if they are not going to be good enough. One would think one good loan deal would pay for itself with fans through the gate. Otherwise crowds will tail off and the early momentum will be gone.

More often than not, our tactics are shackling him or possibly it was himself (I have no idea), however, for me, that second half showed he still has it and for me, where he needs to be all the time. Yes he showed effort in half 1 but not a lot scared the opposition or roused the crowd for that matter.

It seems strange that in the Gowling years we had money to bring in several loan players over the course of the season but this season the only one we've brought in is Bartley. If I were Caddis I'd go to the board and say "there's no standout teams in the league, this could be our best chance yet to make the play offs, can you release the funds to bring in a couple of loanees to help us do it?" He should then be ringing the likes of Birmingham, West Brom and Wolves and asking if we can borrow a promising youngster or two and asking them to part fund their wages. If they ask "why Hereford?" he can point out that Dara O'Shea, Cameron Pring and Mustapha Bundu all came here as rookies and are now established Championship players so we have a good reputation for developing loan players.

I think our problem is we’re part time so attracting loan signings from league teams doesn’t really make sense as they’ll be 17/18 years old there are lots of good players playing a league below because it suits there lifestyle with work .

Don't think it's money that stops us getting loan players. Caddis just won't tell the league clubs "they will be in the starting XI" so they won't give us the players in case they sit on the bench.

I think Deacon amongst others proves it's who is willing to come to the club rather than Caddis 1st picks who are rejecting the wages. To go and get players in the league below is embarrassing.the club needs more ambitions if not I can see Caddis going.

With Tilt gone how about trying to get Tom Pugh back on loan. He's not getting much playing time at Halifax and hasn't started a game since 23 August. He's been a bench warmer since, coming on for short spells in just 5 of the subsequent 12 matches. Money would be the obvious issue but he liked it here and if you don't try you don't get.
