I know it's been discussed at length but still it should be an interesting talking point.
Our player budget being in and around Rushall and Peterborough sports.
Why?

HFC is being run sensibly and sustainably (it appears) along with about 5-6 others in the league. The rest are on the mad highway to ruin when the money runs out. It is about time financial fair play rules were applied right down the leagues. Given our budget restraints, our performances this season are remarkable.

Now this is very much my view on it and I don't want Hereford to overstretch themselves. I spent the 80's and 90's reading weekly articles on how my club was in heavy unmanageable debt and at risk of losing existence. That must be the goal, to provide a sustainable football club in the city. I still wonder why it's so low with Hereford having relatively high attendances.

According to the table in the BN link we have the fifth highest budget so it's a coincidence we're also fifth in the actual league table. Or is it?

Your view of the table appears a bit dodgy if you think it says our budget is 5th highest.

No.😀 Seriously though I think this table is complete fantasy. Football clubs don't publish their budgets for the obvious reason that if they did, players, their agents and selling clubs would ask for silly money if the budget was high. Unless BN can confirm this data came from a reliable horse sauce I'll treat it as a work of fiction. Anyone could knock up a table like that with made up figures in minutes.

I know it's been discussed at length but still it should be an interesting talking point. Our player budget being in and around Rushall and Peterborough sports. Why? I suppose the simple answer is that your owners have pissed all your money up the wall. All that money which you generated playing pub teams and paying minimum wage whilst getting 3,000+ crowds was pissed away. Now there is no money and nobody willing to pay the money. I can't see how it's ever going to change for you. Basically, you went to the casino with £2, you made £100 and then you spent it on drinks. Investment won't happen until there's another share issue. That share issue will give you nothing. It will be basically asking you to give money to the owners. You've hit you're ceiling on this. If you had used the money from the tinpot years wisely then you could've smashed through to the League. Bad decisions from the owners.

For someone who doesn't care about Hereford FC you certainly do spend a hell of a lot of time on this forum commenting on absolutely everything. Need to get a grip and stop being such a mardy, bitter so and so.

BN saying "should be not be taken as accurate" seems a very fair comment.
This account gets stuff right about as often as we lose away (I've seen them delete stuff when proven wrong before).

Another potentially interesting and informative thread hijacked by the clique and their tedious in-jokes. It's about time Admin took a firmer line with these jokers.
