October 12th's fixture with Scarborough now being swapped with a potential away fixture!? Will we ever play at home again?

Ooh, I wonder which one it is? Looking at our night away games it can't be Rushall or Peterborough Sports as they're still in the cup so maybe either Buxton or Needham Market?

It may be better if there is no game. It will give our 9 players time to recover from head and other injuries sustained against Alfreton Kingston Rovers.

Not chuffed about this at all having bought non-refundable train tickets for that date to save a few quid.

Can anybody explain how the Bulls benefit from this. I may be wrong (Mrs eggchasrbull has made me aware of this, many times), but I thought gate revenue goes to the home team, less away team expenses.
So we have lost a Saturday home game revenue* but have kindly allowed Buxton to increase their revenue from our visitchanging from a Tueday to a Saturday.
If we couldn't replace our 12th October Saturday revenue with one of our own Tuesday night home fixtures, shirley we'd have been better off giving our players, especially those carrying injuries, a rest weekend.
* - The club was going to benefit hugely for this 12th October date, but I think they'll take a hit, now. Armchairfan had a weekend pass and Radfords had already ordered in the Babycham. Does it keep?

But I'm reasonably confident that under the guidance of Messers Ammonds, Griffiths & Caddis, the issues you raise will have been carefully considered when making this decision. I can't say whether Babycham will keep. I didn't realise the stuff was still available. Regarding away team's expenses, aren't these partially covered by the home side for cup games only? I believe for league encounters, the visitors must cover their own travel costs. A possible exception to this could be for games that are called off by the host club very late in the day. As ever, happy to be corrected.

White Lightning buys his in Belmont Tescoses and brings it with him to all home matches, warmed up and kept in a thermos flask. He can normally be seen in the corner of Radfords softly mumbling Elvis songs and drinking his Babycham from the handy integrated thermos flask cup, which he holds in his left hand with his little finger sticking out.

As ever, happy to be corrected. I thought away teams expenses are covered for league games, and for cup games there is a share of the gate monies. This is why an away cup draw against a big club was considered beneficial from a financial point. Same as you, happy to be corrected (I'm used to it from day to day home life). As for Babycham, as MT says Babycham defo still available. Armchairfan drinks his as a boilermaker, in a pint of stout. Unlike the old dimpled pint mugs with a handle, it's a bugger trying to get those coupe type of Babycham glasses out of a sleever glass. We normally get a warning by bar staff about this practice. After a few he tries to put the sleever into the Babycham glass. At this point, we're normally asked to leave.

I think it's more to do with spacing the games out more evenly so we're not playing two games a week which gives players little recovery time. Also with us being part time, our players won't have to put in for Tuesday afternoon off work so they can play.

A hunch rather than a long term weather forecast, I think it is nailed on that our next home game will be postponed, that is written in the clouds surely?
