AI even has a template for his post match interviews...
A stereotypical post-match speech from someone like Paul Caddis, known for his leadership and passion both as a player and coach, would likely be a mix of positivity, grit, and no-nonsense assessment of the team's performance. It might go something like this:
"Right, lads. First things first, I can't fault your effort out there today. You gave it your all, and that’s what I ask every single game. It wasn't pretty at times, we know that, but we dug deep, showed character, and that’s what wins games in this league.
Now, I’m not gonna stand here and sugar-coat it — there are areas we need to improve, especially in the final third. We had chances, but we’ve got to be more clinical. We need to keep that composure, be ruthless when it matters, and put teams to the sword. We were the better side, but better doesn’t count unless you get the result.
Defensively, I thought we were solid. You boys at the back, you stuck together, kept your shape, and worked as a unit. That’s what I want to see. We cut out those silly mistakes and gave them nothing for free. Special mention to [insert player] — that was a shift, mate. Brilliant performance.
But look, this is just one game. There’s no point in getting carried away. We take the positives, we work on the negatives, and we go again next week. This league is a grind, we know that, so we can’t rest on our laurels. Stay focused, keep that mentality, and we’ll keep climbing.
Alright, let’s get in, recover, and be ready to put the graft in during training. Well done, lads, proud of that effort today."

Is “insert player” a euphemism?
