HUST

I'm a HUST member and have decided it was past time I should actually read the constitution of HUST!  

Which now leads me to ask the following questions -



Question 1

At the top of page 3 of 22 (www.hufctrust.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Constitution11.pdf) under Names and Definitions it says that the name of the Society is to be Hereford United Supporters Society Ltd - so why is the group always known as HUST?


Question 2

At the top of page 3 of 22 of the constitution (www.hufctrust.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/Constitution11.pdf) under Names and Definitions it says that .... Hereford United Football Club Limited is called "the Club".



However the current club is surely Hereford FC Ltd (beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/08970067/filing-history) which is a different legal entity.



Has the HUST constitution been updated at some point to reflect the change?

Question 1,
That is the name for the bank account, and regulated by the F.S.A. As it's not a charity. You can have a public image and a different "operational " name
Question 2. Does need some clarification but I'm pretty sure it comes under "football in Hereford and the wider community" part

Question 1 - I take the point that it's effectively a 'trading name' ...

Question 2 - This one concerns me as all references in the constitution to 'the Club' relate to an entity that no longer exists. Not suggesting for one moment that there is anything suspect here but that looks like something that should be / may already have been amended in the constitution.

I'm going to contact HUST just to satisfy myself that this is all as it should be.
