Gateshead and the play offs

Absurd that this situation has arisen this late in the season, if known about it before.
Solihull probably well pleased with a bye!
I think they should have been able to play and the situation sorted if they won the play offs. Seems odd they have been playing up till now. 
Is this another case of EFL applying pressure on below.
However Gateshead should have sorted it before this time.

The National League have now amended their decision and fourth placed Altrincham now get the bye to the semi final where they will play Bromley away. Solihull Moors now play AFC Halifax in the eliminator on Wednesday with the winners away to Barnet in the other semi final.
