Dead rubber as it'll probably be at least from a Hereford point of view, it'd be good to see an impressive turn-out and a big gate. The club has performed well this season and deserves an appreciative send-off, I reckon.

Does deserve a reasonable attendance and for me thats what it will be. Reasonable.
Can understand the chairman's words but isnt gonna happen outside a set of freak results this weekend.

Most clubs in this sugar daddy league would love to get anywhere near 3000.

I remember a game at Morecombe where someone turned up no shirt, swim shorts and a beach inflatable sunbed

I'll have a wager that the crowd will be over 3000 looking at early sales. 3296.

If you go back to exactly 12 months ago we had a team about to play the last game of the season having been told they were to a man on the rock n roll. This was a team that had been allowed to wither and die due to there being no cash left.
I think we were all glad to be done with the season, and apart from the brashness of the new manager, some unknown chap from Scotland, we weren't looking forward to this season either.
I think we would all take the new season starting a week Saturday this time round.
On that basis I think they have made decent progress.
Hopefully that progress will be rewarded with impressive season ticket sales in the coming weeks (and squad builder type stuff) which will help feed "the project" even more.

For once I agree with you. However remote the chances, we go into the last game of the season with the possibility of promotion, something we never came close to managing in our previous seasons in this league. So long as Caddis isn't tempted away by Swindon in the summer we should be one of the favourites for the title next season.

Well 9th favourite maybe if we end up 11th, plus the 2 that come down and maybe 1 that comes up spends money so we're 12th favourite.

Many of the clubs who'll finish above us have spent way beyond their means in a desperate effort to secure promotion. Most of them will fail and just like Kings Lynn and Darlington, they may have to severely cut back on their playing budget next season so will be far less of a threat

All that will happen is that the promoted clubs will throw lots of cash at it, there are more and more sugar daddy clubs each season.

Well, Tamworth won the league easily, with, as far as I know, no sugar daddy.
