One of the great entertainers on, and off, the pitch.
Sadly no longer with us. I believe he had been a victim of Alzheimers Disease for some time.
RIP.

Perhaps one of the best and funniest sporting biographies I’ve read. He entered Superstars, couldn’t swim and discharged his shooting pistol into the ground before starting the contest. I think this isaying is about him “ if he could pass the bookies like a football he’d be a rich man” Part of Man City’s Quality Street gang before he was shipped to London. That QPR side of the mid seventies should have won the league. RIP Stan.

A beautiful watch. Especially when asked if he had any regrets.

What would he have changed. Nothing. "I laughed every day".

Absolute genius, made watching football a joy. Managers' nightmare.
RIP, Stan, it was wonderful to watch.
