I can see two comments from home fans referring to “slum”and Hillsborough chants. Can you elaborate further, Burslem? Presumably you heard them yourself. Interestingly I can’t see anything on the forum linked in this thread.

They are very complementary about this forum. With good reason.
If only they knew what was beneath the surface. On the dark forum.

It looks like the person who was complimenting this forum was referring to a thread which was deleted by a wanchor quite some time ago. Those were the days when funny folk roamed. All fossilised now.

Just watched the highlights and that has reiterated why I will always listen to any matches I can’t get to on Radio Hereford and Worcester. Just call the players by their fecking real names as opposed to Skins, Babs and Biscuit. Fair enough if that’s what their nicknames are whilst amongst mates but not whilst commentating on a radio broadcast.

He's referring to our new signing Gary Baldi.

I could've slapped him!

Not just that but the absolute calling out of any push on a Hereford player, however gentle, as a foul clearly missed by the ref. The one-sidedness is quite pathetic. One of the Radio HFC commentators is retiring soon. Lets hope for a replacement suffering from less myopia.

Do you have any then that show the ball may have crossed the line? Assume not or you'd have posted them already. They're still talking about it on port chat, one chap wanting the game replayed. I would say typical over the top scouser but with the accusations mentioned above I won't. I was there Saturday, on the terrace, and didn't hear anything dodgy, doesn't mean it didn't happen though.

If the ball crossed the line I think it was when the keeper initially gathered the ball, not when he fell to the ground.
The linesman should have had a reasonable view when the keeper caught it as the ball was above the his head.

If you look at the second photo, you can tell from the resigned demeanor of the Southport fans on the terrace in the background that, a split-second earlier, the ball had fully crossed the line. One of them (the individual in the dark jacket on the right - just below the Hereford badge) has even turned away in disgust and is on his way to the bar.

Even the ball looks like it knows that it was over the line a second beforehand.
