I thought it would be good to hear how many supermarket bonus cards everyone has and how many points you have? Also what do you spend them on?
Do you have the biggies? The Tesco Clubcard? The Sainsbury's Nectar? The Morrisson's Match N More? Or perhaps you have one of the less mainstream such as the Iceland Bonus Card or the Co-Op Card. Do you always remember to swipe? Do you get annoyed if you've left your card at home and happen to be in one of the shops? Do you save your points up for a biggie or do you spend them as soon as you have enough to do so? Do you press bag -reuse on the self scanners to get a couple of extra points?
So many points.....On a personal note nearing £5 (1000 points) on our friend nectar and deliberating what little treat to get..
Thoughts? Soju

Nectar - in the region of 3,000 points. The FMD won't allow them to be cashed until the Christmas Big Shop.

I've got four nectar cards, which I loop through, as it seems they haven't worked out they're all owned by the same person. Means you get four times the money off vouchers, as sainsburys think I haven't been there for a month and are desperate to retain my custom. I regularly get enough vouchers to save 20 - 30% on a sainsburys shop.
You can also employ 'harvesting' - put a single item through the till first and use one card to get a decent money off voucher which you can use in the rest of your shop.

I love Nectar!
I regularly build up enough points to make a serious difference to the cost of my shopping (or get a bottle of Scotch virtually free....)

I took the precaution of adding the odd spelling mistake in my name and address submissions for each card too, and assumed their fuzzy matching wasn't up to matching Differs of Lebdury, Herfordshire with Differs of Ledbury, Herefordshire. You also get to input things like how many children you've got - for one of them I put 6 or something, and that card always gives me loads of offers on nappies and so on. Plus, don't think you need to use a voucher before it expires - if it does, you'll invariably get another straight away next time you use that card. Supermarket shopping is a lot more fun now we have loyalty cards.

Nectar: not used much, never cashed in, about £30
Tesco Clubcard: Most used. Used to save money for Xmas food shop, but Kids tend to use vouchers for theme parks. When kids were younger, wife would do shopping and I would walk around car park with kids picking up receipts to cash in. Found lots of things left in trolleys too.
iHG Rewards: 160,000 points worth about 8 nights in Holiday Inn.
BA executive Club: 190,000 avios points for a variety of things. Silver membership with 40 points required before Sept for Gold- will miss out again.

Don't have any and don't like them tbh. Far too much data gathering on my personal life for my liking. Plus I always feel that the discounts/points you get are a bit like saying "Well we could sell everything at 5% less but we are not going to because we don't like you."
I use the simple old adage that if you don't want my custom, try to rip me off or generally mess me about I will go somewhere else.
