There we have it in a nutshell. The Iceman cometh and plays him at wing back. (As per GRL advocating the move for 4 (four) years. Result: Eire hold England at Wembley till Scales concedes penalty.)
Second half who moves to centre back and loses his man twice for tap-ins? He who doesn't like the ugly stuff: Mr D O'Shea: carnage.
If Ipswich deploy this agile lad at wing back there's a chance they'll be in the Premier League season. Previous employers Burnley and West Brom probably won't be.....

I thought you were an advocate of him being moved into midfield? Or is it case of just getting him out of the centre-half role?

GRL has been proved right time and time again regarding O'Shea. You win, time to stop 'rubbing in in'.

No it’s a case of desperate straw-clutching Tony, getting embarrassing now. It’s as if GB News have started doing match reports.

I thought you were an advocate of him being moved into midfield? Or is it case of just getting him out of the centre-half role? Wing back is midfield. Arguable, but anyway, this wing back role you advocate for Dara, might I ask if there is any defensive component involved? If so, how will a chap who, at tier 7, ‘can’t defend to save his arse’ be anything other than a liability at Premier League level? Or If this wing back has no defensive duties, surely he’s a winger? I ask not as a member of HUST, but quite possibly one of THUS.
