A good game to watch. Evans played very well. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of his season goes before the arrival of Hastings. He's coming on in leaps and bounds, I think it'll be the making of him without Cips; just hope Glos can hang on to him after Hastings' arrival. Yesterday, with 10 minutes to go, 10 points behind, and Rees-Lightning just sent to the bin, I thought, "Perhaps I'll switch over and see if there's some synchronised swimming being shown on another channel." Glad I didn't. I'm still annoyed about that period just before halftime, where Ulster were down to 13 players and all Glos did was kick away possession and give away penalties. Mind-bogglingly dull, could have had the game sewn up in that period.

Great game to be at, with the atmosphere electric in the last 5. Still hoarse today after that. Comment in the Rugby Paper that many more than the 2000 there would claim to have been.
The most pleasing thing is the faith shown by Skivington in the young academy players which is being repaid in spades. The likes of Knight and Evans, bit players under the previous regime, are now showing what they’re capable of, so much so that we suddenly have the much needed SID without having to trawl the rugby world for ageing mercenaries. The recent signings of young internationals from Argentina and Georgia might just prove to be a masterstroke.
The team yesterday was very much made up of current and former academy players, substantially English qualified. Given the players missing, that was a tremendous result.

On the tellybox, it certainly sounded as though there were more than 2000 there. Totally agree about the academy players coming through; hopefully, Skivington will keep them on rather than let them move on because of buying in higher profile players, as happened with Robson, Mills, Thomas et al.

They snatch (the water carrier) defeat from the jaws of victory Penalty to Gloucester, all day long; when the water carrier jackalled that ball he was not supporting his own body weight.

Let's face it - this lesser code of rugby is doomed until hands free rucks are re-instituted.

Let's face it - this lesser code of rugby is doomed until hands free rucks are re-instituted. How right you are; although the laws still state that, once a ruck is formed, hands are not allowed. Could it be that the referees are ignoring certain laws, such as hands in the ruck, players not entering through the gate, players flying in and not binding, players going off their feet? Shirley not.

It would be a step in the right direction. Obviously, since turning professional, Rugby Union has been terminally blighted by the pursuit of greater fitness and greater size.
Gerwyn Price has pointed the way forward. Not as bright as Jocky Wilson but it's a start.

I am so proud of him.

3rd down and 6. Into the N zone.
Hut hut.
Why do they call it the Negative zone?
Very strange game is rugby.
Edit: don't worry about it. I've done some reading and can see that it's because a person must reverse his/her polarity in order to score a try and therefore the person is considered a negative of themselves. Hence 'N zone'.
Pork pie, sausage roll, come on Gloucester, give us a try!

Great to get another win even if it was at the death ! Never that comfortable with billy at 10 but what a warrior the bloke is 😁 I wasn’t there but the lucky 3000 must have had a great night ! Could do with a more polished performance next w/e for the visit of that horrible lot from down the a46 !
