Macron may as well have punched her in the chops.
Only 6 months to go.

Utter humiliation.
Can't say she wasn't warned.
Final days of the whole debacle.

While I'm sure some will try, it's hard to argue with any of this. The point at which you say your far stronger opponent (who you've tried (and dramatically failed) to battle) is a "bully" (ffs-what happened to this country) is the point at which even the most hardened BREXITEER must realize the game is up. www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2018/sep/23/brexit-theresa-may-chequers-eu

IF the game is up, it is due entirely to the weakness of the present Government. They should have either ignored the result in the best interests (allegedly) of the country and negotiated some appeasing sops, or had the balls to conduct a ‘hard’ exit and work towards whatever future awaited. This pathetic namby pamby scenario is no good to either side. They are all tosserss.

If we are so strong relative to the EU 27 as the Brexiteers claim, they wouldn't be complaining we are being bullied - they would be relishing the contest. And the EU 27 are quite a friendly bunch really. Wait until we are up against the real bully-boys - USA, India and China. That's going to hurt.

Together with the Saudi crisis, it certainly is. Hopefully that will also draw attention to the Saudi treatment of Yemen.

Might be useful to also draw attention to the Iranian treatment of Yemen, alongside the likely involvement of Hezbollah in events in that country. Just in the interests of balance. And no, I don't support what the Saudis are doing. The plight of the country is an international disgrace by any measure.

Popcorn at the ready.... Going to be an interesting few days. Interesting, or terrifying? It would be even more interesting/terrifying if Keir Starmer would tell us what the Labour Party's "six (6) tests" comprise whenever he is interviewed.

The impending famine and subsequent disaster is absolutely shameful.

Typical Labour. If you don't attend or watch the party conference, you have to do your own research to know what's happening. On a more serious note, thanks. I shall read later with interest. Have a smooth homeward flight.

Thanks. I will.
Just about to board. Also hoping that we will enjoy similar free access to Europe in the future.
As an aside; every non UK person I’ve spoken to over here is utterly mystified about what is going on in Britain at the moment.
I could only describe it as a colossal brain fart. Which doesn’t translate well.
