Being old and going to too many concerts has given me the joyous gift of tinnitus. Now have to be very selective about who I go and see. Last concert was UK's farewell tour (shortly before John Wetton had surgery to remove a 1 kg tumour). Next up is possibly/probably Chameleons Vox farewell tour. All these farewell tours - seems I'm not the only poor sod feeling my age.
Seems that CB and yourself are in the same club as me.
It was Toy, at Heaven under the Arches that did for me. Weirdly, bumped into a bloke from Hereford outside the gig. He did tell me his name, but gawd knows what it was. All I could hear was
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
And can hear it now.

Loudest band I ever saw? Bauhaus at Trinity Hall in Bristol circa 1980. Just ridiculous,

"LOUDest band I ever SAW" ? I need Susie AND the Etiquette Guide to work this one out. That said, given my views of BH and their so-called music, maybe they sound better thro the eyes of the beholder, rather than thro the ears ?
But each to their own, of course, I deeply respect ALL those who get/got off the arses to support live music.

Saw them in Watford supporting the afore mentioned Woking gentleman. Very good band. Were very tight and had a full-on punk energy about them.

Yeah I'm hoping to get along to see them this year at some point. They are always doing random gigs in Watford and London so I should be able to go along once I'm back dahn saaf.
