In all honesty this place has become a bit of a joke now though. Its a pity that we actually did have a decent forum at one time and its funny that during that time I don't recall seeing any of your faces around. OK, you're going to have to help me out here. That was proved to have been a lie but also seems to have been forgotten about. The forum I believe opened around 2007 but I never even used it until I joined college which was a full year after. Admin even made a post confirming the IP address was different but it just got drowned out with all the other crap. In the end I was told to ignore it as it would eventually go away. Sadly this wasn't the case but please do go on peddling more lies, you do seem to enjoy telling them quite a bit. |

The account was some one on a massive wind up and I think that's pretty obvious by the name choice. The only thing I was never told is who it actually was. The only thing I do know is that they had loads of multiples which were trolling accounts (but I don't think any were bad enough to merit bans). It just goes to show though how a lie can become truth if told enough times. The real person may own up to it one day but I doubt they're even on here. Not that it matters much now anyway. |

Just turned on the TV to see May addressing another group of Tory activists in leafy Twickenham..
She started well, seems to have softened some edges and was making good sense. For a few minutes.
Wasn't long before she reverted to type with the usual well worn digs at Corbyn, McDonnell and Abbott. Of course, the audience lapped it up, braying in support. When it came to the Tories' own policies there was a vacuum that wouldn't have been out of place in the blackest of black holes. Meaningless platitudes about trusting them to be "strong and stable".
They have nothing. Their only position is to suggest that May (and their whole campaign is focused on her) has the strength of personality and leadership to cope with the demands of Brexit. She has the gall to attack Corbyn for his leadership credentials when he has come through two bruising leadership campaigns, has been the subject of the most appalling series of attacks by the media, and yet has rallied the Labour vote to a point where the Tories are at real risk of losing their overall majority.
Calling the election was the most monumentally stupid and unnecessary act. If it was intended to "destroy" the opposition it has backfired spectacularly. The Tories will undoubtedly win the most seats at the election, but they have weakened themselves hugely in doing so, and are likely to have irretrievably damaged their position in the forthcoming Brexit negotiations.
