Yup. Be interesting to see how his management skills with UITC compare to his time with HUFC.

This will bring the conspiracy theorists out in droves.

Joel Edwards is also lending a hand.

I should think he had a big enough chance the first couple of times?

Pitman was looking very happy this morning shopping in Sports Direct - a whole load of new sports kit.

What is it with this club, always going back to the old ex-boys. Why no new blood?

How long before Pitman brings back Gary Peters to help him out?

Come on, guys. JP might be willing to admit that he was out of his depth as a league manager, but he was an excellent & loyal servant to HUFC, and ALWAYS gave it 100%, on or off the field. You should expect nothing less in his UITC role, and, for me, at least, I'm pleased to see him back in the old Black & White. Welcome back, JP, I wish you every success.

I always held the view that he had a very good eye for young players, and had good coaching credentials. The main job was too much for him, perhaps not surprisingly.

I've said before, I think history has treated him badly. I don't even think the main job was too much, we just had desperate crises of confidence during the last ten minutes of games. I still maintain we'd have stayed up with him remaining in charge.

What a forgiving lot you are. Pitman should have resigned or been sacked before he did so much damage.

Umm didn't do a bad job at swindons academy, if I could choose someone to coach our young kids then I would choose someone with a vast number of professional appearances at 3-4 clubs, and someone that has held a "top" job at a football club learnt from the experience and his subsequent failures.

With kids maybe so. Hope he has learnt as you suggest.

I just hope his attitude during his managerial stint doesn't come with him.
I'd sooner have Peters, Foyle and Mark Ellis - can't forgive, won't forget.
