I think it is a national BBC policy that they don't do below step 2 so you can't really blame the people locally.
At least we have Radio Hereford FC which I prefer to H&W as it is all Hereford and there is no risk of it cutting to another match at any point.

Trevor Owens does his best but there are hardly any staff there and the hierarchy are all into Worcester rugby. I believe they even have a hospitality function room there. They should forget what level we are at and just consider that its the best supported football team in the 2 counties and so should be covered. The amount of time and comment given last Saturday to that bloody friendly rugby match was obscene! God help us when they play a league match!

The OP is right though.
BBC Harriers and warriors is well named. Its a disgrace!
Why would they not want to cover the best supported football club in their area? They cover Worcester City who get what, 400 or 500 hundred at "home".
Well worth campaigning for I'd have thought and a good cause for a proper boycott is they don't see sense.

Perhaps they feel that there is little interest in football at this level. The numbers are impressive now with the novelty factor and the feeling of being in on the start of something new, but had Hereford United gravitated gradually to this level by virtue of ordinary relegations, I think it might be a different story. The goal has to be to get up the pyramid as soon as possible or interest way well wain.

Don't worry, we'll be on 5 live when we're in the Champions League If we're lucky then our Europa League games the season after next will also make it onto 5 Live. I assume we'll walk the tinpot competition that is the FA Cup next season? After all we are the biggest club in the country.

Who would cover it? I mean everybody's favourite commentator is doing a sterling job with the club's radio station.
Just listen online or to the game, simple??

Surely the responsibility of H&W is to serve its local listeners rather than pander to league positions.

Not sure I understand the issue here. BBC will not commit to paying for coverage at this level. It doesn't come for free.
If you can post on here, you can follow On line.
I accept that if you are driving, that may occasionally prove difficult, but Radio Hereford FC do a great job.

Radio is about listnership I thought. We have the biggest attendances in their area. I think its part of their charter to serve the area as best they can.
Ignoring the biggest club in their area (re commentaries) puts them in breach, as well as proving their Worcestershire bias. I cant imagine this is Trevor Owens doing so who should we complain to?
